  • Beautiful Santa Rosa house

"Loved our stay. It was nice to have a clean and comfortable place to relax after a long day of meetings. The seats in the hot tub are fantastic. The owners are organized and available, and I will plan to stay here again next time we're in the area."

  • Perfect location for wine country getaway

"My husband and I recently spent a week at the villa. It is beautiful and relaxing. Judith was extremely helpful, but not at all intrusive, and she has thought of everything. Everything you need for a comfortable stay has been provided. The house has a beautiful garden. It feels very secluded and private even though you are right in town. It is a short walk to several very good restaurants and a shopping center with a bank, pharmacy and supermarket. And Santa Rosa is a perfect location for visiting wineries or the coast. Everything we wanted to do was nearby. If you are visiting wine country and want to relax, this is the perfect place to do it!"

  • Perfect holiday experience for our family!

"Wow! This house is extremely special, and I hope we will have the chance to return. It was a perfect experience for us! We enjoyed 4 nights over Christmas up in the Sonoma mountains. As advertised, the house has authentic elements of a "farm feel" (views for miles, eggs from the chicken coop, fruit trees and herbs for cooking right outside your door) combined with all the modern amenities you could want (stunning master bath, heated floors, cable/wifi, fire pits, hot tub, and a kitchen that has EVERYTHING you need). This is the PERFECT place to retreat with friends and family if you are looking for some serious quality time with each other, removed from urban distractions. Part of what makes this house especially spectacular and idyllic is that it's quite remote. It takes about 8-10 minutes through a winding driveway to get to very small and adorable town of Glen Ellen (a few restaurants and B&Bs, a small grocery) and plan on about 25-30 minutes to get to Santa Rosa or Sonoma. If you're looking for a place to write an award-winning novel, cook delicious meals for days, and have hours of conversations and slow walks with your loved ones, there is probably no better home than this one. See you again, we hope! PS: We also found the few interactions we had with the owners to be extremely prompt and pleasant - bonus!"

  • Cozy, peaceful and thoughtful

"Robin and Simmon were amazing hosts; respectful, friendly, interesting, creative people. The cottage is small but perfectly appointed. A full working kitchen with just the things you'd need and tons of thoughtful details taken care of. A small rack of area guides, a binder full of handpicked local menus, a drawerful of good DVDs. Even despite the chilly weather my lady and I were drawn to the picnic table and chairs set to overlook lovely Santa Rosa Creek behind the cottage. Walking distance from a great park, a 15-20 min drive from some spectacular natural areas. Thank you!!!"
