  • Lovely property within an hour of Napa and Sonoma. The pool area is wonderful.

"We had a group of 7 and this was a great fit for us. The yurt is pretty far from the actual home but one of the couples in the group enjoyed the space and privacy. The pool area is just great. Even in cool weather, the pool was nicely heated. The kitchen had high-end appliances (sub zero fridge, Viking range) and the bathrooms were nice. We did notice quite a few spider webs and dust but overall it was a clean place with comfy beds and furniture."

  • Perfect stay for a week in Wine Country

"We just finished a 5 night stay at Lisa's home. I can not say enough about our stay here. I surprised my husband with a trip to wine country for his birthday. We wanted a house, instead of a hotel, where we could cook some of our own meals and just relax. My criteria in a home was a great kitchen, hot tub, and central location. This house fit the bill perfectly. Being a VRBO and Airbnb host myself, I have pretty high standards! The kitchen is amazing and stocked with more than you will need. There are numerous outdoor spaces to enjoy, and the weather was perfect for using the hot tub at the end of the day. The beds and linens were comfortable, and the master suite was great. I was initially hesitant to stay in the city of Santa Rosa as I thought staying in town would take away from the wine "country" experience. But in this house you actually feel like you are in the country. There are tons of mature trees all around the property and views of the mountains. From some views you can't even tell that you have neighbors. We were greeted by Kim when we arrived and she went over all the essentials and had a nice chilled bottle of wine waiting for us. Everything you need to know is listed in the house manual, along with tons of information about the neighborhood, and surrounding wine regions. We did not have any issues during our stay but if we did Lisa and Kim were just a call or text away. Regardless of which wine regions you are looking to explore this house is in a great location. We drove to the Napa region on 2 different days and took 2 different routes and it was beautiful, especially with the fall colors. There are so many small towns offering many things to do in this region. We didn't have nearly enough time to do half of the things we wanted to do. Literally across the street from the house is the entrance to a park, which leads to the larger State Park. Great for walks, hikes, bike riding etc. There was initially suppose to be 6 adults but ended up being only 4 of us and there was plenty of room. We easily could have had 4 more people and there still would be enough room! We will definitely be back and stay here again and explore even more of the region. Would recommend for mature groups, families, couples, girls weekends. Thanks again Lisa and Kim, we had a wonderful time!"

  • Fabulous Views and Sunsets!

"Our group of 9 adults stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate a friends 50th Birthday. We had a fantastic time! The views from this home is amazing! One of the best stocked kitchen's I have ever experienced in a rental home. We loved that we all had our own bed and bath and each room was very private. Melanie is great and provided a great list of local experiences! I suggest starting your trip with a private tasting with the neighbor! He is a special soul! We spent most of our days out wine tasting, but the house was so great that we enjoyed our nights cooking in. My only complaint is that the house does not have air condition. That would normally not be an issue, BUT, if there is a heat wave of temperatures in the upper 90's during the day (which is what happened to us 2 days into our trip) it is very hot without air conditioning!"

  • Charming, comfortable house!

"Our host was wonderful. She was friendly and very responsive whenever we had questions. The house was super cute! The beds were all very comfortable, they supplied all the towels we could ever ask for, the kitchen had lots of space for cooking, and the living room was a great place for some late night conversation. We didn't get to try out the hot tub, but we noticed that it was clean and ready to go whenever we needed it. The piano was beautifully tuned and we did get a chance to play a few tunes on that! My one comment is that the lighting in the house (with the exception of the common bathroom) was not great for applying make-up, but that's really a very minor complaint. Everything else was fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing your home!"
