  • Better than expected

"I stayed at La Casa Caliente with two other couples while attending a medical conference. The pictures here don't fully show off the beauty and size of the house. When you enter through the side door and start walking to the back the house just keeps going. With 2 very large sitting areas, a tv area, spacious kitchen, and dining room you never run out of space. The 3 bedrooms were very comfortable and provided more space then you would get in any hotel. The grounds of the property are well maintained despite the CA drought and allow you to get outside to enjoy coffee in the morning and a cocktail at night. Althogh the pool was too cold for swimming, the hot tub was wonderful in the night for relaxing with some our newly purchased wine. Everything a cook desires could be found in the kitchen and we were able to prepare a really nice meal after shopping downtown. October is a perfect month in Sonoma, not too hot or cold, and this location made visiting the multiple wineries simple. Because of the noise restrictions I wouldn't recommend this for children or teenagers but for adult couples this is the perfect place. When I can revisit Sonoma again this will be the first place I will look into booking."

  • Fun Sonoma Stay

"We had a wonderful time in this beautifully appointed home. My husband commented, "This woman has great taste!" The linens, beds, kitchen, dining areas were all comfortable and nice to spend time together. Unfortunately, we had two days of rain, so no swimming but the back yard is great! And we did have a chance to use the nice fire pit. The road back to the house was water filled with potholes, but that was mostly due to the rain, I would imagine. Only suggestion I would make on the interior would be another bathroom...the location was great, easy walk downtown and for groceries."

  • Comfort & Peace: everywhere you go

"This property left us with the feeling of living indoor & out, with so many comfortable options. The night's rest was heavenly with luxurious bed and windows open. The warmed floors soothed our transition to morning as did the fireplace to evening. The thoughtfully curated space felt country European. We loved meeting the hosts and their sweet dog, along with other guests who wanted pictures taken on the beautiful grounds. We would definitely stay at Hacienda again! Thank you for sharing your special place with those away from theirs."

  • Wonderful stay

"I spent a wonderful, relaxing month at this rental. It is located perfectly in a cute neighborhood of bungalows with lovely gardens. Very walkable. The apartment is roomy with doors that open out onto a large front porch and a nice eat-on patio. Rosemary and Alan are friendly and generous hosts but not intrusive in any way. This was the first time I had done a monthly rental and it worked out great. You can't go wrong with this one."
