  • Beautiful property that offers great accommodations very convenient to Sonoma County wineries!

"We had a great time at Tipsy Timbers! Guerneville is a bit small to offer much but the property is within short driving distance to many areas we loved! Carlos is a great host and we had everything we needed! Hope we can return in the spring or summer! P.S. We loved that every cabinet was labeled! We found everything we needed quickly! Great job!"

  • Fabulous Family Gathering place

"The pictures and comments cant describe the actual atmosphere and beauty of this expansive property. I had my family fly in from Florida and Salem Massachusetts to SFO. We meandered up through the Bay area, through wine country, and down the River road to this most excellent destination. As you enter the property, you cant help but look up in awesome wonder. If you ever wanted to live among hundred year old redwoods; you have arrived. As you enter the home and look around; the open floorplan from kitchen to dining to family room invites a few or many to gather and enjoy the views of redwoods front and back. It was a long trip, its probably a little cold and damp; light a fire in the wood burning fireplace and relax. The well appointed kitchen with high end appliances has a lengthy sit down bar area and allows socialization and at least two cooks in the kitchen. The biggest local grocery store is on the left as you leave Guerneville, make sure you stop and load up on the way in. Comfy beds and linens invite a restful and quiet nights sleep. If its not too cold, crack the windows a bit to let in the fresh forest air and snuggle beneath the thick warm comforter. When you do decide to get out of bed, make coffee and quietly go out on the back deck. Look to the field on your right. We saw deer every morning that had come up from the creek. WiFi, board games, Big TV Lots of firewood Cant say enough good things about the kitchen Best salad spinner ever Hot tub was awesome Don't miss out on Rivers End restaurant up the road in Jenner ( reservations reccommended) Sonoma Coast is known for its Pinot Noir, take advantage while you are here. Two of the best beer breweries in the US are also close by; Russian River and Lagunitas. If you like bubbles, visit Ironhorse. If you like more choices, head into Santa Rosa or Healdsburg to the tasting rooms. Tony, the owner, communicated directions, expectations and advice from the moment we first made contact. I have had multiple rentals over the years in many states and locations and this was the best experience ever. We will be back, count on it."

  • Beautiful stay!

"Had a great time at this beautiful house. We had a friend in our party who was confined to a wheelchair, and the house was (aside from the showers, which were slightly challenging) fully accessible to him. The house was all very nicely appointed and well-stocked and dealing with the owners was very easy."

  • Wonderful place in Sonoma--so close to San Francisco

"Our family spent 4 nights over Thanksgiving at this amazing property. It is so close to San Francisco (about 45 minutes) that my son was able to easily drive back in to work on Friday. And of course it was so near so many restaurants, beautiful wineries, and a great little brewery. The location can't be beat! The grounds have everything you could possibly want---hot tub, pool, horseshoes, bocci court, firepit, etc. It was a bit chilly when we were there so we would love to return when we could enjoy those things more. The interior was beautiful, warm, and inviting. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked---even had a roasting pan for our turkey. Between the cottages and the two living areas in the main house, there are lots of places people in a large group can go to read, play games, have a little quiet time, etc. The owners were incredibly responsive to any request--Terri even sent my swimsuit back to me that I left in one of the cottage bathrooms. We HIGHLY recommend this place!"
