  • Awesome place!

"We came up here with 2 other families and with kiddos under the age of 7 and we all had the blast. The home is cozy and spacious and the outdoor space is gorgeous. Both kids and adults had a blast spending time outside. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We look forward to coming back."

  • wonderful retreat

"This was the second time here for our family of 3. It is in a beautiful location in Redwoods, ferns, with a seasonal creek running right by. The kitchen is very well appointed and had tea, local coffee, and oil and vinegar etc. We were welcomed by fresh flowers and pumpkin bread. The wifi was rapid. It is only 10 minutes to the ocean and Goat Rock State Park. We have also gone hiking at Armstrong Redwood State Park near by. Duncan Mills near by has a good coffee shop, a small general store with some food, and 2 restaurants. The owner is not near by but she responded quickly by internet to all questions."

  • Great for a getaway with friends

"I rented this property with friends to celebrate my 50th birthday, and it was pretty perfect. Truly gorgeous surroundings (the photos don't do it justice), and plenty of space for everyone. One advantage is that as the day wears on, there are lots of warm sunny areas to migrate to and lounge in as the angle of the sun changes. Saturday night we made a great meal making use of the kitchen and the grill. We were there in October so the solar-heated pool was chilly but still very refreshing, and the hot tub was great."
