Vacation rentals near Midland Trail

For ¼ centuries, our group of women has been spending a week together in some location. This year, we chose Colorado Springs and this great house. The 8 of us had plenty of attractive rooms to cook, eat, talk, play Mexican Train, watch a movie, and sleep. The location made getting to restaurants and sights easy. The host was more than gracious and helpful. It is one of the best houses we have rented. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely cottage where I brought my 85 year old mother. It worked well for her with her walker, the bed was very comfortable, nice snacks and coffee for the morning and a terrific stay. We will come again if in the area for an overnight!! Highly recommend this lovely place!!

Very clean! Close to everything and lots of deer and wildlife. The stream was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

from check in to check out, the casita met our needs and fulfilled our expectations. The location was fantastic, 3 minutes from groceries and gas, and 15 mins or less to everything we wanted to do in Colorado Springs! My favorite part of every day was sitting outside either in the hot tub or by the fire, surrounded by the beautiful backyard setting of the casita. It’s also nice that the detached bedroom is also equipped with a bathroom, very useful. We had no issues and everything was accurate. AC would have been nice but it cools down at night, so by cracking the window and making use of the 2 fans, it’s manageable even in August.

This was our 4th stay at the cabin. The first two times, was just my wife and me. The last two were with our child (turned two this time). Cindy and Tim have been the easiest hosts I’ve ever dealt with. They have offered baby gates when they found out we were coming with a baby. The cabin was peaceful, clean, AND entertaining for a child. Walks down the driveway were easy, and plenty of play time on the deck. There was even a short hike up the hill behind the cabin to a bench. We used the hot tub to ease our achey muscles after long car rides and hikes, and enjoyed playing some board games another night. I cannot recommend this place enough. For first timers—this IS a neighborhood, but you definitely feel secluded while there, and there’s plenty of breathing room and privacy. It’s about a perfect blend of desires for people lime my wife, who might be new to the cabin experience, and people like me, who would enjoy spending time in a cabin miles away from the next. In any event, this should be at the top of your list. Just don’t book when my family wants to go!

I have nothing bad to say about this property. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful stream running in the background. The house is spotlessly clean, has an amazing shower and great kitchen. The owner is easy to get in touch with and very nice.

Nice to have a cottage to ourselves. Just the right size for the two of us. Privacy and quietness was great! Will definitely stay here against n if possible.

Property was exactly as listed. Bed and pillows were comfy. Towels were plush and plenty of extra towels and bedding. Full icemaker and extra bag of ice were welcome for my small cooler. Labels on cabinet doors was genius idea. View of Pike's Peak was beautiful from big window and patio. It was winter so we did not utilize the fire pit or grill but they were a welcome addition. Enjoyed both big screen TV's and there were plenty of channels. Host was perfect and easy and quick to communicate answers to any questions. Binder of recommendations for restaurants and activities was thoughtful and useful along with many local travel guides.
