"This house was great for our guys golf trip. Jen is extremely responsive and took great care in knowing we were happy. The front porch with the creek running and wonderful scenery was a great spot for just chilling out."

  • !!!We had a Blast!!!

"Stayed with a small group of girlfriends and everything was perfect. The house is large, clean, and well maintained. Our favorite part was relaxing in the hottub and you can see so many stars at night. The house is up from the road and I never saw any neighbors from the house. Beau Jo's in nearby Idaho Springs was highly recommended to us before we came, it did not disappoint. The owner was very responsive and we had no problems. Buy groceries before you come, it is a 5 min drive to I-70 and ~15 more min to downtown Evergreen or west Denver. Thanks for a great vacation!"

  • A lovely getaway! Be mindful of the "leave it as you found it" rule

"I visited Greenview with 4 of my good friends and enjoyed a great long weekend at Michaels cabin. It was a clean place. Comfortable beds. Nice amenities. A beautiful location with a sneaky good view just up the hill. It gets nice and cool at night, so sleeping was pleasant. The location is great for folks looking to get into town and hike the likes of Chief Mountain. Visitors need to be very mindful of the "leave it as you found it" policy that is spelled out in the contract waiting for you at the cabin. While Michael made the policy clear, I do feel it's a little much to ask of guests. In order to get your $100 cleaning fee returned, you need to vacuum, change the sheets, sanitize the toilet, tub, sink, and counters. If you're feeling extra nice, you can even begin to clean the sheets you used. I've never had a place ask this much in order to have a cleaning deposit returned. I also feel a little uneasy having to trust previous guests with the task of changing the sheets. In my opinion, these tasks should be taken care of by the owners or cleaning staff. My friends and I completed about 85% of what was required, but we drew the line when it came to cleaning the bathroom and starting the laundry. We're on vacation, ya know! Who wants to do that stuff. And ultimately, it's entirely up to the owners to decide whether you cleaned the place sufficiently. On a final note, I believe our group should have received more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 4 night stay. More than 1 roll of paper towel would have also been nice, especially when we need 1/2 roll to complete all the cleaning tasks. In the end, we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was exactly as described. The policies were clear, albeit a little weird when it came to the "leave it as you found it" rule. Maybe some folks are up to doing that much work to get $100 back, just not me."

  • Joe & Sharon, Texas

"This property was perfect for our family of 11, from preschool age through teenagers and adults. All of us enjoyed the beautiful, spacious home plus amenities. It's close proximity to I70, Evergreen and Golden was exactly what we needed for our son's wedding week. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. We saw elk on the property and our grandsons enjoyed a hike up the "mountain". All of our family commented that they would enjoy a return trip to this property. Thanks again to the owner for a memorable week! This was so much better than staying in a hotel!"
