"We booked this place for our extended family of 8 visiting Colorado for a week in August. The house is spacious and peaceful. At night we could relax in the hot tub while staring at the stars and twinkling city lights in the distance. In the morning we awoke to birdsongs and hummingbirds feeding on the deck. The kitchen pleased my mother who doted on the large stove and made big family breakfasts for us most days. As others have mentioned, this place makes a perfect "basecamp" for your Rocky Mountain vacation. Whether it's hiking to Rocky Mountain National Park, sight-seeing in Denver and Boulder, tubing or taking a brewery tour in Golden or panning for gold in historic Idaho Springs, everything is nearby but far enough away for you to have privacy, tranquility, space to relax and take in the absolutely breath-taking views of the natural surroundings. Would book again without question!"

  • Excellent Management

"We had originally planned to travel to Evergreen CO for a wedding that was cancelled. Katharine was incredibly prompt with communication and in sending us the refund. While I cannot comment on the property itself, I would gladly book with Katharine in the future."

"Our family had our BEST Thanksgiving yet on the ranch!! We cooked up a storm in the well appointed kitchen and saw so many wild animals. We rode horses with Andy's gentle help. Thanks to Jude and Andy we were very blessed. We will return‼️"

  • Fire and Snow

"My fiancee and I stayed for 2 nights and spent the second night in the hot tub for a couple hours in the snow. They seemed to have everything we would need to enjoy our time there. We spent the first night sleeping downstairs next to the wood stove that heats the entire house. There is a heater for all floors but we wanted to "rough" it. Spotted a bobcat and some deer right outside the house as well. If it is snowy you better have a 4x4 to get to the place though!"
