  • Perfect location and amenities galore for families

"Our family enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this property in Aug 2016 - 6 adults and 5 kids under 7 years old.....we were visiting family in the area and attending some baseball games. This was our first ever vacation rental experience and we will definitely do it again! The homeowners provided all necessary info and were flexible with us....the home had EVERYTHING you could need, especially with small children. Pair that with grocery delivery from Safeway and it was a no hassle vacation. We saved money in the end as hotel was about same cost and we only spent $100 on groceries vs eating out every meal. I really crunch the numbers on vacation costs and this was truly a great value. My personal favorite on this property was the backyard....it was serene next to the creek and everyone (including adults) enjoyed the tire swing. Location was easy, convenient, so close to trails....can't say enough good things. We will be back!"

  • Very nice

"Very nice location. Quite, clean and nice. Greg is a nice host. You never see him if it is not necessary but he is there if you need him. The appartement is absolutly seperate from the house, you can be with your own. The AC works good and quite. There is a complete kitchen in the appartement. It is located close to downtown - 2 blocks."

  • Cool eclectic house!

"Loved our time here....really cool house - lots of books, artwork, & stuff to admire. Definitely a homey feel. Super clean. The location was great...loved walking the neighborhood. Think we missed out on an email through VRBO that gave us details, like use of garage, parking permit...but the owners filled us in. We would have loved a info sheet...so we knew about AC, parking, checkout details....but wasn't a big deal. Again, the owners were quick to reply. The house had plenty of living space for our family of 5...we didn't even use the bottom floor space - which was spacious with a door to the gardens. And yes, the backyard is as spectacular as it looks. We kept planning a late night ping pong match (table is in garage), but never got there....next time. Thank you thank you"

  • A roomy place with lots of natural light and a communicative host

"My friends and I had a great stay here. A walk to the meadow is a great way to start the day. The skylights and great room windows give the place an abundance of natural light. It is roomy without feeling overwhelmingly big. Although there were six of us and only three bedrooms, the couch and some extra cushioned mats served as beds for the three others. The deck is a nice place to hang out, as well. The host is very accommodating; I appreciated how communicative he was. The only downside was that the hot tub was not working; the host had scheduled a repair for it, but it was to happen after our stay. He did well to let us know ahead of time, and even checked to see if a neighbor could let us use his tub. Overall, I'd recommend it to others."
