  • Great home away from home

"We rented this "apartment" (entire first floor of house) for an entire week. It was the perfect size for a family of 4! It was so well furnished, owners thought of many little extras like an abundance of dishes and glasses, sugar and spices in the pantry, and butter in the fridge. We were able to cook breakfast in the mornings and even used the grill one evening. Thought we would use the bikes but sadly never did. The beds were super comfy, sheets and towels top quality. Location was wonderful: made day trips into Denver and up to Estes Park, hiked the flatirons of Chautauqua Park and went into Left Hand Canyon. Had dinner up at Gold Hill Inn...check out their website! The only downsides (which we knew going in) were that it had one bathroom and no air conditioning (sadly Boulder had a heat wave the week we were there). Owners are great communicators, answered all questions we had. I would gladly stay there again as well as recommend it to friends."

  • Excellent Birthday Weekend

"My fiancé and I rented Larry's cabin for my 30th Birthday Weekend. I booked late and arrived early, but Larry was more than accommodating! We really appreciated the extra effort he put into making our stay ultra comfortable. We found the home very cozy and enjoyed warming up next to the fire place after a dip in the hot tub. We also had a great time grilling on the back deck and trying out our piano and drum skills in the music area - a really fun addition! It was just the 2 of us, but the cabin can house quite a few guests with ample bedding and common space. I would highly recommend to others!"

  • Great Location

"The location was great. We could walk downtown or to CU within 10-15 min. The house was in a nice part of town. The house was everything we expected by the pictures on the site. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again!"

  • Wonderful Family Home-Very Welcoming- Warm-Great location

"My immediate family [from 5 different states now] came out to Boulder for 5 days, from 1/4-1/9/17, to celebrate my daughters wedding on the 7th, in Boulder Canyon . We were extremely fortunate to find a wonderful home, full of warmth, with a nice open floor plan, that met my large family needs. There were 7-9 adults, depending on the night, and my grandson- who is nearly 2 . The owner was terrific to work with, my daughter and I had a few questions and she responded quickly. The home was clean and well organized. The kitchen was well stocked- dishes, cooking utensils, all kind of condiments and appliances. The refrigerator even had butter, eggs and some produce for us to use. All 4 bedrooms were a nice size, with extra linens and plenty of towels. The master bed/bath was spacious, with a wonderful large tub. The basement was large, quiet and fully carpeted, a great amenity for my son and my 2 year old grandson to run around in, given the snow and extreme temperatures. The home was nicely decorated with many "family" photos, which we enjoyed! The kitchen was open to the family room, with great light, and a large fireplace that we enjoyed nightly (wood supplied!). We made use a few times of the outdoor gas grill located right off the kitchen under the covered patio. The Dining room sat 6-8 comfortably and opened to a second living area, for those that wanted to get away and relax from the activities of the kitchen/family area. We also had a wonderful snow storm upon arrival which made for some good walks, and a pristine outdoor wedding on Saturday. The neighborhood was great to walk, and a neat trail at the end of the street took us up to what appeared to be conservation area- beautiful in the light fluffy new snow. Plenty of shopping and artisans downtown, and up in Estes Park, less than an hour away we were able to view dozens of Elk, deer and wildlife. The impending storm nixed the snowboard trip as roads were icy, but a wonderful stay was had by all, no one wanted to leave and I wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this home to any family that wants to visit or vacation in Boulder. Thank you both for sharing your home, we loved it! Great location, great home - warm and welcoming."
