"We are a family of four with 11-year-old twin daughters and loved our stay. We live in a large home, so the cozy "studio" feel was exactly what we were looking and loved the fact we were always together while in the place, but had plenty of comfortable places to sit, hang out together, etc.. It had everything we needed to eat breakfast and pack lunches for the many hikes we did in Rocky Mountain National Park and was clearly clean and well-maintained. Having the windows cracked open at night provided comfortable sleep and waking to a view of the mountains was always breathtaking -- I didn't want views of rivers or trees like we can get at home, this is definitely a place with mountain views! We frequently sat on the big deck and enjoyed all the birds and chipmunks, especially the friendly hummingbirds. It's far back from the road so no road noise, very quiet. Close to neighbors but we never saw them. Pool was a big draw for the kids after long hikes: is kept very clean and WARM, not overdose of chlorine like many public pools. A couple of us used the loft (including my 6-ft tall husband) and wasn't too hot with the ceiling fan going at night, but a little hard to get in and out of. The cabin was furnished with lots of great, critical reading material for all to do in Estes Park, particularly the various hiking guides and maps. Finally, being literally around the corner from the RMNP entrance, but just outside of the central Estes Park town means we avoided traffic for many of our day-hiking adventures and grocery shopping (first went to Safeway in town, but then used the smaller grocery store just down the road). Estes Park, while crowded over the 4th of July week, was quaint, fun, many places to shop and eat (highly recommend Claire's Restaurant for ANY meal and Images of RMNP photo gallery). The cabin owner was very pleasant to work with and responsive to questions. Highly recommend this cabin!"
