  • Nice place in a very convenient location

"My family of 4 had a very nice time in this cottage. It's pretty simple (I'm from Louisiana, and it reminded me of a hunting/fishing camp...), but absolutely fit the bill for a vacation where most of your time will be spent outdoors anyway. The cabin was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The owner is very friendly and was available for any questions we had. Note that the washer/dryer is in one of the bedrooms, so you'll need to take that into account when doing laundry. Also, like many place in Estes, it is not air conditioned - and while not a problem in the later evening or mornings, it was definitely warm in the afternoons (we were there in late July). The location is very convenient to RMNP as well as most anything we wanted to do in town (everything in town was about 10 minutes away at most, but usually even closer). We were able to get around without getting tied up in mid-town traffic. That said, it's not on the main drag, and we also had some elk wander through the back yard, which was pretty cool. So, while part of a neighborhood, it felt a little out of the way as well. All in all, a very good value compared to many higher-priced options in this area."

  • Estes Park loft with class.

"The Art Loft is central to everything, and located above the Starbucks on Elkhorn Avenue (the main drag in Estes Park). You are literally only steps away from coffee shops, restaurants, and assorted other shopping options. Don't worry about lugging your bags up to the second floor...there's an elevator. When I first walked into the Art Loft, I was struck by how large the 1 bed/1bath unit is. There's a large kitchen with all the necessities (microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, stove/over, and ample cooking and dining tools. No paper plates or plastic spoons here. You get the real thing. The theme is art, and the walls have numerous large nature photographs of the surrounding area. That surrounding area is Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP), one of the true jewels of the National Park system. Estes Park and the Art Loft are conveniently located just outside the main entrance to the park. Whatever the season, RMNP is a true 4 season destination, with plenty of camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and assorted other mountain activities year round. As a Colorado resident, I sometimes get questions from out of state friends about legal marijuana. Estes Park has several dispensaries/retail outlets, so if you are an MJ tourist, you can easily find what you're looking for. Andy was a great host...he contacted us after checkin to make sure everything was satisfactory, and stayed in touch during our stay. Whether it's a weekend getaway or an extended stay at/near RMNP, the Art Loft is a unique spot to explore Colorado's natural beauty with all the comforts of home (Wifi and DirectTV are complementary). Highly recommended."

  • A Beautiful Home in a Picturesque Setting

"We rented this home for a family vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday. We could not have asked for a better rental. The location was perfect, just outside of Estes Park and close to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Right out of the back door is the Big Thompson River, which is a beautiful scene. You can also see Long's Peak, which is also awesome. The rental itself was immaculate, well furnished with all the amenities needed... including WiFi and the coffee maker! We found the décor perfect for the setting. We had Thanksgiving dinner at the rental and we had all that we needed, including plates, pots, pans, etc. Bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. Our family of five (including three teenagers) had a great time and enjoyed the stay immensely. The greatest compliment I could give is that our 15 year old daughter asked when we could go back to this rental. Thanks for a great stay, we'll be back!"

  • Awesome view in a cute, cozy cabin!

"We absolutely loved our time at Robin's cabin! It was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. You feel like you're at a family cabin, but when you go out on the decks, it's amazing! We couldn't get enough of the views, and spent a lot of time out on the huge decks, relaxing after hiking in the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. The town of Estes Park (about 5 minutes away) is adorable, with tons of shops and restaurants, and a fun place to walk along the riverwalk. We were lucky enough to see several herds of Elk while we were in town (or in the RMNP) and they were very fun to watch! We are so happy we stayed here for our anniversary, and look forward to coming back!!"
