  • Outstanding location with great views

"This was a wonderful experience for everything to do with Rocky Mountain National Park. It didnt hurt that we woke up to an entire herd of elk right outside our home. Watching these magnificient animals was a real treat. We also spent every day hiking in multiple parts of the park! It was easy, close access to the park so got to watch the elk in horesshoe park and sheeps lake. We drove to Grand Lake one day and hiked a trail on the way so all in all we were on an outside, hiking trip. Now onto the house! It was perfect for us. There are three nice bedrooms, a dining room overlooking the mountains as well as a nice kitchen. The master bedroom is upstairs and waking up "in the mountains" was really great! We slept with the upstairs doors open and it was perfect weather. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook. We cooked most nights choosing to not fight the crowd during elk fest. The Dunraven Inn has excllent food and located near the house. I highly suggest it! The owner also contacted me a few times as well and it was nice to know if we needed anytning he was available. Overall a wonderful home, located in proximity to the park and a great way to spend time in the mountains!!"

  • Beautiful home in an incredible area

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is incredible. It's huge and beautiful, and met my expectations from what I'd seen in the listing. we did have a few issues (including no heat for the first night), but once we reached the property manager it was taken care of immediately and we were appropriately compensated for the mishap. Outside of that issue, our stay was excellent. The area is gorgeous and a quick drive away from some of the most incredible hikes we've ever taken. The rooms were incredibly spacious, the kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and the views were breathtaking."

  • Amazing for families with children!

"This place had anything and everything you could possibly need for a family. It was spacious with an awesome entertainment room, stroller, sleds, everything you ever wanted in kitchen, books, video games, and so much more. We had 3 families stay with 6 adults and 5 small children from 2 months old to 6 years old and all loved the place- inside and outside. The outside decks were beautiful with chairs to relax. We saw so much wildlife off the back decks- deer, elk, chipmunk, and sunrises were glorious. They were super helpful and friendly."
