  • More than we expected

"We stayed in this house for 3 nights right before Christmas. It was so much more than we expected. The views were breathtaking. You look out into the mountains. The property is very wooded so you do not see any other houses around you. We didn't know how tastefully festive the house would be decorated. We had brought our own decorations and did not even take them out of the boxes. The fireplace was my favorite feature of the house. My husband kept a fire going almost the whole time we were there. The bed in the master was very comfortable. All of the furnishings were up to date and comfortable. Regrettably we did not use the hot tub, every day we thought the next day would be the one. The kitchen is full stocked with anything you may need to prepare a meal. The appliances are all top of the line right now to the front load washer and dryer. All of the comforts of home. It is recommended that you have a AWD vehicle in the winter the driveway is a bit steep as well as the road leaving the house. The main roads are very well maintained as the hospital is on the main road. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here."

  • Great family get away!!

"Overall it was a great experience for my family. We had 3 separate couples go and all had their own space and privacy. The views were a definite plus to our experience. There were a few downfalls to this place, we had an ongoing issue with the wifi not working, being that we went for Christmas we were u able to call/text our family back home without having to drive down the hill and towards town just to do so. Our second issue was we were unaware that it did not have a centralized heating system, so we were using radiator heaters, which were not necessarily safe for the young kids. Aside from those two thing we had no other issues or complaints. The cabin had just about everything one would need in the kitchen, enough towels, washer dryer, sheets/pillows and blankets etc. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends! It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay!"

  • The pictures don't do it justice!

"Our stay at this cabin during late August 2016 was fantastic. The pictures really don't do justice to how well appointed the cabin is, and the view from the front room and the deck is a amazing. The attention to small welcoming details made us feel at home immediately. The young adults in our party were raving about the comfort and also the variety of very nice art pieces in the cabin. The location is ideal to explore Rocky Mountain National Park as well as other trails in the area. Coffee on the deck in the morning and watching the wild turkeys and deer, then hiking, and a nice comforting cabin to relax in at night. One of the nicest cabins we've stayed in over the years."
