  • February was fantastic at the Hideaway

"This house was perfect for us. It was well-located, so that we could walk to yoga, coffee shops, breweries, CSU and to our favorite restaurants. It was extremely cozy, clean and well-equipped for a month-long visit. Lisa was fantastic as the homeowner, not intrusive, but answered the phone quickly if we needed her. We would be happy to stay at the Hideaway again next year if it works out. BTW, winter weather in Fort Collins is lovely!"

  • Great location, walkable to bars, restaurants and shops.

"The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We did have to go out to get coffee, soap and shampoo, but that was easily remedied. Fort Collins was a lot of fun!"

  • Much nicer than expected!

"After viewing the property on the website and visiting the property in person, I will say the pictures don't do it justice. The property is very nice - it's a converted free standing garage or carriage house. Whoever they had do the remodel did a fantastic job, and it is extremely high quality work inside. The place isn't drafty at all (which you often find with properties of this type) and the heat works extremely well. The loft is great for kids and the bedroom is nice and well appointed. Everything we needed was already there (towels, linen, etc) and of nice quality. Internet is provided, but it is pretty slow - so don't expect to any work or other data heavy activities. The TV has Roku built in, so if you have a Roku account or a Plex server, you can access your media directly from the TV, which is a nice bonus - but be prepared to tune down the bitrate, since the Internet is too slow to provide full bitrate streaming. The Wifi signal is strong, though, so you'll have no problems with basic email and browsing. Access is through the back alley, which is a little confusing at first, but once you get used to it, it's fairly easy - but it's hard to see the alleyway at night. There is a 120v outlet outside, so if you have an EV, you can use that - but it's pretty slow since it's only 12a @ 120v. It would be great if they put in a NEMA 14-50 outlet for the EV drivers that might come and stay... I had to use a lot of public charging around town. There's only two working DCFC chargers (Jax Surplus and the Nissan dealer), on opposite ends of town. Just down the street at the pool is an L2 charger you can leave your car at overnight. All chargers in town seem to be on the EVGO network, so get an account and card before you arrive if possible. Bikes are provided, if you're inclined to ride around town, which is a nice bonus. All in all, I would definitely stay at this property again. It was great for me and my family - I was a little trepidatious after looking at the pictures, but it was pleasantly surprising and definitely a good place to stay!"

  • Best location for Old Town/CSU visits

"Nice cozy 2 bedroom one bath appt in a quite location. Bath room was nice beds were good and kitchen has all you'd need. This place is lacking a few of the extras, washer dryer in the unit being one no dishwasher #2. However this units location and price point more then makes up for any shortcomings. I'll definitely be back. The neighbors are very nice and give helpful advice if your lucky enough to run into them👍𣐼􎿻"
