  • Charming lower level apt a short walk to Pearl St Mall.

"We had an awesome girlfriends getaway. Place was clean and well equipped. (Could use a larger kitchen island and bathroom mirror.) But overall, it was a great place, and owners very nice and helpful!"

  • Former Boulderite

"My husband and I spent a month at Shana and Doug's home. It is such a cozy home with great energy & a fantastic location! We have lived in Boulder before and just love the Wonderland Lake area. There was a fenced in yard for our dog and this was a great addition for us. Also, you are just steps away from walking/running/biking/hiking trails, so if you want to get outdoors quickly and enjoy this aspect of Boulder, you will be in the perfect place at this home! In addition, Lucky's Market and the rest of their suite of stores (bakery, liquor, coffee shop, etc.) are easily within walking distance just down the street. There are multiple restaurants as well that you can walk to in the North Boulder area and you are also quite close to all that downtown Boulder has to offer (a bit of a longer walk, but certainly a short drive or Uber ride away). .....There is a great outdoor deck as well for lounging or having a small dinner gathering. Clean, comfortable, and close-in ....highly recommend Shana and Doug's home!"

  • PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

"Going into the property between storage buildings had the potential to be off putting, but it was completely a non issue. The house is great. The location is so convenient. 5 minutes to several park entries. Easy walk to town. The house was so comfortable and relaxing. We made breakfast, had perfect steaks on grill under gazebo. Sat by the creek and read and relaxed. Also could walk to town for meals and get pizza delivered. The beds were the most comfortable that I have ever slept on in a rental house. We saw elk and deer in our yard. It was quiet and was great to sleep with windows open. Ray was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The house was super clean and had everything that you needed. Our stay was 5 nights and the only problem was we wanted to be there longer!!!! Ray and Janet, thank you for making such a super vacation home available."

  • Great Experience in Georgetown, CO

"We arrived on Xmas eve and were very happy with the property. The home is well set up for a family of four with two single beds upstairs and a queen on the main floor. Cozy, clean home in very good condition and close to town. Easy walk to town even on a cold and windy night, like 5-8 minutes. Georgetown has a cute main street with various shops and restaurants. Kind of a sleepy town, which was just fine or us. After a long day of skiing we just needed a nice quiet place to relax and this home was perfect. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. Washer and dryer on site, although we only used the dryer for wet ski clothes during our stay. Did not use the wood burning fireplace. Plenty of towels and everything you would need in terms of toiletries for the bathroom. House is about an hour from Denver airport so easily accessible. Tip, look at renting a car somewhere other than the airport. We took an Uber to an Aurora, CO Enterprise location and saved about $700 on a 5 day rental. They really jack up the prices during peak times at the airport. We went skiing at Loveland Ski Resort for 3 days which is about a 25-30 minute drive from the house. Loveland is awesome and easily the most affordable place to ski I have ever been. I have been to about 12 different ski resorts and the skiing at Loveland is as good as any of them. When you factor in the price and short/ non-existent lift lines there is really no comparison. Loveland is for skiers only, no lodging on site and really not much else to do at the mountain, which was fine for us. We bought 3 of the 4 pack lift tickets which brings your daily lift ticket price down to about $35 each. If someone knows of a better, or even comparable deal, I would love to know about it. You do have to buy the 4 packs by late November, so plan ahead. You can use them any time without restrictions. My only complaint, and I hate to even bring it up, is the tree (palm tree of some sort???) growing in the corner of the kitchen. It is huge and is taking over a good portion of the area we used to take off our gear after skiing. Without the tree, a nice eat in dining area would be available. I hate to bring it up because it probably has been in the owner's family for a long time and it would actually be pretty cool in a larger space. Overall we had a great time in CO and this house was a perfect fit for us. The owner was easy to work with and I would definitely stay here again."
