"Place is exactly as described. Breathe taking views, plenty of hiking, nice stream on property and Idaho Springs is very charming. We have been looking for a place to go every year and this is it."

  • Amazing Experience

"We booked this house for our family vacation. It was 2 couples, with 3 kids total, ages 2 to 5. IT WAS AMAZING. It was absolutely perfect for our kids. They loved the play room filled with unique toys, the bunk room, all the books, the kid's counter in the kitchen, and the tree house out front! The adults had everything they needed as well including really comfortable beds, a big fridge for all our food, and the swing on the front porch that overlooks the river. I would highly recommend booking this house if you have kids with you. There is even a separate room with a crib for the baby, attached to an adult room, which we used for our youngest traveler and it was quiet for naps. Booking and paying were easy. The expectations were simple (unlike other listings I've seen where you have to wash all your bed linens and remake the beds before departure) and straightforward. This was a great trip for us with no headaches or surprises. We actually liked how there was only 1 TV in the house and it was upstairs- we didnt turn it on once. We enjoyed all that the area had to offer. It was an easy drive from the house into Golden, Boulder, and Denver. Idaho Springs was fun too and we enjoyed many of the restaurants and the drive up to mount evans. All in all, I have nothing negative to say at all!"

  • Just what our little family needed!

"(We wanted to sign the guest book but didn't have a pen.) Our family of three stayed here for our Spring Break ski vacation. Very quiet, nice, and conveniently located accommodations. The ski in/out feature was super-convenient (note: beginner skiers might find the beginning of the Maryjane run that leads to the ski-in Corridor run a little challenging/mogul-y). Enjoyed a short walk to Winter Park Village on our ski day off and location was just a quick drive to downtown. With the well-appointed kitchen, we ate in for about half of our meals. When we ate out, these were our favorite restaurants: Goodys Mountain Creperie for breakfast (in the village), Hernandos Pizza (our son had a lot of fun decorating a dollar bill to put on the wall) and Pepe Osaka's Fish Taco (very good but a bit of a wait). Always appreciate it when someone trusts strangers to stay in their home and feel bad that in our effort to leave the place tidy when we left, we neglected to start dishwasher (husband thought I had, I thought he had). We had wished there were full-size trail maps available in the condo along with the other helpful brochures, so we could plan our ski strategy; we left a few behind for the next guests. Entry codes were a bit elaborate so recommend keeping those handy at all times. All in all, a great trip!"

  • A great spot for a mini-vacation!

"We had a wonderful stay in Winter Park! The condo was perfect-just the right size for the two of us and our dog. We didn't use the kitchen much as we ate out most of the time but it had everything we would have needed had we cooked. It was easy to get in and out of and we loved having parking in the garage. The only thing we would change for summer months would be to have the bed under the fan as it was quite hot-even with windows open-at night. Otherwise, we loved it and will definitely stay again!"
