"Place is exactly as described. Breathe taking views, plenty of hiking, nice stream on property and Idaho Springs is very charming. We have been looking for a place to go every year and this is it."

  • Amazing Experience

"We booked this house for our family vacation. It was 2 couples, with 3 kids total, ages 2 to 5. IT WAS AMAZING. It was absolutely perfect for our kids. They loved the play room filled with unique toys, the bunk room, all the books, the kid's counter in the kitchen, and the tree house out front! The adults had everything they needed as well including really comfortable beds, a big fridge for all our food, and the swing on the front porch that overlooks the river. I would highly recommend booking this house if you have kids with you. There is even a separate room with a crib for the baby, attached to an adult room, which we used for our youngest traveler and it was quiet for naps. Booking and paying were easy. The expectations were simple (unlike other listings I've seen where you have to wash all your bed linens and remake the beds before departure) and straightforward. This was a great trip for us with no headaches or surprises. We actually liked how there was only 1 TV in the house and it was upstairs- we didnt turn it on once. We enjoyed all that the area had to offer. It was an easy drive from the house into Golden, Boulder, and Denver. Idaho Springs was fun too and we enjoyed many of the restaurants and the drive up to mount evans. All in all, I have nothing negative to say at all!"

  • Beautiful location up in the mountains

"The place was perfect for our needs, big enough to fit our group and affordable when split between all the adults. Kim was so wonderful working with me while I planned my trip, I started a year out. My 1 1/2 year old was fascinated by the horses that live on the property and loved feeding them carrots. The location was centrally located between numerous small towns that we had a great time exploring while also being close enough to Denver for us to visit friends and see a few attractions there too. If you are more the home body type there is a large selection of board games that my 4 1/2 year old couldn't get enough of as well as a pool table and hot tub. The bird feeders brought so many wonderful birds to the yard and we had fun discovering what kinds they were, there was even a hawk's nest in one of the trees. We had such a great time and didn't even mind the fact our phones didn't get reception because we could still look up everything we needed to on the Wi-Fi. An absolutely wonderful vacation!"

  • Enjoyed it.

"Very unique......we loved how the property was built "around" the original cabin. We also liked the location........very convenient to Golden Gate Canyon State Park (for us, this was a hidden gem)."
