"Going into the property between storage buildings had the potential to be off putting, but it was completely a non issue. The house is great. The location is so convenient. 5 minutes to several park entries. Easy walk to town. The house was so comfortable and relaxing. We made breakfast, had perfect steaks on grill under gazebo. Sat by the creek and read and relaxed. Also could walk to town for meals and get pizza delivered. The beds were the most comfortable that I have ever slept on in a rental house. We saw elk and deer in our yard. It was quiet and was great to sleep with windows open. Ray was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The house was super clean and had everything that you needed. Our stay was 5 nights and the only problem was we wanted to be there longer!!!! Ray and Janet, thank you for making such a super vacation home available."

  • Lovely spot in a great location

"The Fryehouse is a lovely spot to take in Boulder's sights. The deck is gorgeous and overlooks the Flatirons, the space is clean and modern, and the kitchen is well appointed. Vivian and Lonny are great hosts, they are available at the drop of the hat but respect your privacy and personal space. I love their dog Blue, he's a big sweetheart and the chickens are so much fun to watch. This spot is a gem, so close to Pearl Street that you don't need to rent a car, and in a historic neighborhood. I'm looking forward to coming back."

  • Wonderful, relaxing stay.

"We just returned from a four day stay at this Estes Park property with our two adult daughters and their husbands. The house is spacious and well appointed and we could not have been more comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the decks. The first night there we stayed up late listening to the elk bugling across the little valley. The next night there was some light cloud cover and the full moon appeared to have a rainbow encircling it! We made several breakfasts and a few light meals ( salads mostly) in the kitchen and found everything we needed. The living room was large and comfortable with room for all six adults to lounge around and watch a movie in comfort after a long day of hiking in the nearby park. Even in October, the town was very busy. Although the house is close to town, the area was very peaceful in the evenings. We would definitely return and would recommend this property to any group."
