  • Lovely spot in a great location

"The Fryehouse is a lovely spot to take in Boulder's sights. The deck is gorgeous and overlooks the Flatirons, the space is clean and modern, and the kitchen is well appointed. Vivian and Lonny are great hosts, they are available at the drop of the hat but respect your privacy and personal space. I love their dog Blue, he's a big sweetheart and the chickens are so much fun to watch. This spot is a gem, so close to Pearl Street that you don't need to rent a car, and in a historic neighborhood. I'm looking forward to coming back."

  • Exactly what you are looking for.

"What can we say, the space and view are incredible. We were absolutely content sitting on the bed or in the hot tub looking out over Boulder under the stars or the sun. We would recommend to any of our friends and family. You won't be disappointed!"

  • A near perfect vacation spot high in the mountains with a spectacular view!!!

"Very nice home with a very comfortable feel, room for everyone, everything you need for a great vacation... The view is spectacular up high into the Roosevelt National Forest, with perfect views of the mountain range and Long's Peak, yet close enough to Estes Park (10min drive to downtown). The house was very comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed our 5 day stay in mid- September and hope to get back there some day soon!"

  • Lots of Room, Great Views

"We spent 4 nights and 5 days at the Chalet, and found the space large enough for everyone to enjoy without being crowded. (9 people) However there were a few things which needed improving or updating. 1. The keyless lock on front door, does not completely unlatch if locked from the inside. 2. The oven needs immediate total cleaning. 3. Take storage bowls as there are no medium sized bowls for left-overs. 4. We were provided with only 2 extra rolls of toilette paper for 9 adults (had to buy more). 5. The ground level bathroom has odor of septic tank-only way to reduce this odor was to leave the exhaust fan running continiously (also bought a room deodorizer too little avail), 6. The outdoor Grill was not functioning properly, burner was clogged, and not heating evenly. and 7. The ground floor bedroom, directly across from the stairs, the door would not close without forcing, as the upper hinge screws were loose, (my husband found screwdriver and replaced 1 screw and tightened the rest-then function smoothly). Also a little touch-up paint and recaulking of ground floor bathtub and replacement of moldy shower curtain replaced. If these things were taken care of this would rate 5 stars."
