  • Delightful townhouse

"I was sold on the view from the living room when I booked the property and I was not disappointed. The townhouse is spacious, comfortable and equipped with just about everything vacationers might need, as well as some unexpected but welcome extras, such as a first aid box and a selection of games and some toys suitable for the youngest guest. With an eight month old baby and a four year old in our group, these extras proved useful. While the property is suitable for a family party like ours, it is decorated and furnished with the quality and taste that reminded me of an upscale bed and breakfast rather than a renta that should please the most discriminating adults. We enjoyed the quiet location, along with the convenience of being close to Winter Park and its variety of activities, as well as the proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Overall, I was absolutely delighted with this property and would recommend it unreservedly."

  • Amazing Experience

"We booked this house for our family vacation. It was 2 couples, with 3 kids total, ages 2 to 5. IT WAS AMAZING. It was absolutely perfect for our kids. They loved the play room filled with unique toys, the bunk room, all the books, the kid's counter in the kitchen, and the tree house out front! The adults had everything they needed as well including really comfortable beds, a big fridge for all our food, and the swing on the front porch that overlooks the river. I would highly recommend booking this house if you have kids with you. There is even a separate room with a crib for the baby, attached to an adult room, which we used for our youngest traveler and it was quiet for naps. Booking and paying were easy. The expectations were simple (unlike other listings I've seen where you have to wash all your bed linens and remake the beds before departure) and straightforward. This was a great trip for us with no headaches or surprises. We actually liked how there was only 1 TV in the house and it was upstairs- we didnt turn it on once. We enjoyed all that the area had to offer. It was an easy drive from the house into Golden, Boulder, and Denver. Idaho Springs was fun too and we enjoyed many of the restaurants and the drive up to mount evans. All in all, I have nothing negative to say at all!"

  • Could not have been better! PERFECT

"Firstly, I want to thank Annabelle for being so prompt and responsive. It seems that many of the owners don't understand that travelers are trying to get plane flights to match the available properties. For that to happen the owners have to reply promptly. Even waiting 24 hours for a response seems like forever, and when you have to do that with multiple properties just to get an answer, it is simply maddening. Annabelle responded right away and we had everything wrapped on with a phone call in 10 minutes. She answered all of our questions and was professional, friendly, honest, and just an overall pleasure to deal with. Tha cabin itself was perfect. It is kind of remote without really being hard to find. There is a great little restaurant (Sundance Cafe) that is very close by, is always open, and has food and drinks for all times of the day. The fireplaces/wood stoves work great and put out some real heat! The price of the cabin was so reasonable that we were afraid it may be a little "too rustic" - but no! It is modern, clean, and loaded with everything you need. This is the kind of place you come back to over and over :) *oh, and the wi-fi works just fine*"

  • Nederland home in the mountains

"We had a short two night stay at this home. When we first pulled up we were a little alarmed because the way the houses are organized on the small road made the whole set up look a little iffy. Our worries were for nothing as the home was quite nice inside. The downstairs was spacious and the set up was perfect for talking and dining, and the "kids" could play games in the couch/TV area without being in the middle of everything. The bedrooms were upstairs, along with a fancy bathroom with double shower heads in the enclosed shower. The master bedroom was HUGE and had great space with a small balcony off it. One of the bedrooms was pretty small, but the twin beds in it were comfortable, and it served its purpose. The highlight of the stay was seeing a moose in the driveway next door one of the evenings. Very exciting! There were a lot of instructions about food handling due to the bears that might wander through, but we did not see any bears. Darn! The house is in the tiny town of Nederland, which is about 8200 feet above sea level. There are four or five restaurants in this town, which is right in the middle of some spectacular scenery. The wind was fierce while we were there adding to the mountain feel of things. There is a carousel in town with all of the animals hand carved over the last 26 years by a Viet Nam veteran. It was fun to take a ride on the carousel and look at all the animals. Plus, it was only a dollar each, which is quite a bargain! We had a great stay in this house, and found the owners easy to work with. We would definitely consider staying there again if we're ever in the area. As a side note, it was too early in the year to ski, but the Eldora ski resort is just a short 15 or 20 minute drive up the mountain from the house."
