  • sweet, light filled apartment

"Perfect Boulder location one block from Pearl Street and within walking distance of everything Boulder has to offer. Sufficiently stocked kitchen if someone wanted to cook but with so many great restaurants in the neighborhood, other than a quick breakfast, I did not use much of what was available. Brandie was also immediately responsive to all of my texted inquiries. And then there are the touches of whimsy which dot the property - the origami crane mobile hanging over the bed, the bicycle adorned with lights perched in a tree, the child's toy truck and the fossilized bone hidden in the garden and I would absolutely consider returning to this property whenever I found myself in the area again with one recommendation: The feeling of space and openness this apartment suggests is accomplished by the light from multiple windows - but blinds on the two which parallel the kitchen were strongly desired, especially as you need to pass through the kitchen area when returning to the bedroom after showering, or if you plan to settle into pjs in the evening and watch a little TV. Perhaps even something that has the option of being pulled closed up from the bottom to continue to allow in light while providing privacy."

  • Happy & Safe family vacation despite Cold Creek Fire

"71 Peak View Drive was an excellent base of operations for us to travel around the Front Range for 10 days, including attending a destination wedding in Goldin. We were 2 generations (3 couples), and we had sufficient room, comforts, and views to keep us all happy. The food available just downhill in Nederland and other nearby places was a big plus. "Half-day-Ray", the neighbor living above the garage, was good company and full of local intelligence about how to deal with the Cold Creek Fire. It started puffing smoke on the day we arrived but stayed a safe distance away on the other side of the Boulder reservoir. Highly recommend!"

  • Super Unique Property

"This was a very unique home and was an amazing experience just walking thru the house the first time. So many different things to enjoy from the NOLO styled art work to the colorful tile- and the views from upstairs were fantastic every morning. We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed day trips around the area during the day. Keep in mind this house is fairly secluded and you will access it up a steep, bumpy, dirt road. But the drive is worth it. My mother in law was with us and she enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen and I enjoyed not having to cook!!! My only complaint is that this house was surrounded by trees and about 90% of the windows had no screens. So the upstairs was either very warm because we couldnt open the windows or we had tons of bugs. After the first night we went to the hardware store and bought mosquito nets to cover the windows. Problem solved."

"Ahhhhmazing! We just spent a week at this lovely home and everything about the experience exceeded our expectations!! Our clan included 3 families, with kids ranging in age from 7-18. The "dirt road" leading up to the home was a little daunting at first, but was we drove it over and over, our mini vans had no problem "off roading"! The house is about an hour drive from literally everything. We couldn't have picked a more centrally located home base! The house itself has everything you could possibly need and/or want. No need to overpack, the washer/dryer was one of the best amenities! There is a guide on the table that explains everything you need to know about the house, and local secrets (the sun dance cafe has wonderful breakfasts - share a plate, portions are enormous & delicious). Owners are super attentive, we had (what we thought was) a problem mid week and the owner had a maintenance man on the property nearly immediately (turns out we were just idiots 😬). The views from the balcony are unbelievable, there are a couple of elk that frequent the train tracks below, and you can easily hear the crick babbling. Two giant thumbs up from Themis crew!!"
