  • Unplug and Reconnect...

"I loved my time and Nancy and John`s property. I would come back again. I want to share one moment that moved me the most. I am a mom of three kids, under 10 and my day revolves mostly around serving their needs, such as crafting a breakfast, making beds, vacuuming rooms, washing dishes and many other things I do not particularly enjoy, but do it because it is the right things to do, and mostly because it is what is expected of me. When I decided to take a break and leave for three days, things were not going well at home, and it was mostly due to my burnt out situation. It was Friday night when I arrived, my hosts were very pleasant and showed me the room and explained the rules. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the place and the layout of the house. What really made a difference for me, was the morning... I woke up at 7am, which is quite late for me, I was still tired and hungry but was not sure what to expect. I came upstairs and looked at the kitchen. The kitchen table was empty but the countertops were full of amazing, wholesome, natural food!!! Someone woke up before I did and FIX ME breakfast. I got teary in my eyes. I have to tell you, last time anyone made me breakfast was... ohh man, it has been a long time!! It was actually my mom, about 20 years ago.. I loved the crunchy granola and amazing bread and yogurt and my own bowl of fresh fruit.. It made my day and it made my stay.. I really appreciated the time you guys took to take care of me and my needs. I loved the lake and the trials nearby and loved spending time reading, thinking and laughing with my sister.. This trip really changed my view on vacationing, since the rental is 1 hour drive from my house. I was 100% on vacation, felt pampered and taken care of, and THAT my friends, something that does not happen very often!!! I loved it, I know you will do too.. Thank you guys!!!"

  • GOOD

"We 4-adults spent a week at this lovely townhouse. It was well maintained and comfortable. Very little yard for children but a well furnished playroom downstairs. Wildlife in the area. Cannot see the river and access is limited. Not all bad since the river is rushing and noisy. We would rent again! The owners are great to work with. Estes Park is a very busy place in the summer. F. • Would stay here again

"We had a great weekend in the cabin. My one minor complaint is that some of the questions in my pre-visit emails were not acknowledged or addressed. That aside, everything regarding the cabin was provided as promised, and the cabin was neat and clean on arrival. Rules and instructions for cabin use were very clear. We were particularly grateful for the well-organized kitchen, as well as the close proximity of the glacier trails (maybe a 5-minute drive). The cabin itself is cozy and secluded, and we would absolutely consider staying here again. Thanks!"

  • We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean, and so comfortable and cozy.

"We loved the beautiful mountain views, and the easy entrance into the park! The cabin was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. Thanks so much! This is our second time staying, and it won't be the last!"
