  • Always enjoy the base camp!!

"Second stay at base camp and the accommodations are excellent. Convenient ski in/out to the mtn, good supplies in-house, great architecture, plenty of space to socialize with the group, but room to get away from everyone too. private hot tube is a must after a long day skiing. Now it is an annual thing! Judi makes the arrangements easy and painless."

  • The Perfect Spot

"We came to Boulder to get married - up in the mountains and this was the perfect spot for our family of 7 to stay. It was super convenient to walking the trails at Chautauqua and had all the amenities and space that we needed to connect but also have our own space. Kurt and Laura are most gracious and super welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Becky and Jim and Family"

  • Happy & Safe family vacation despite Cold Creek Fire

"71 Peak View Drive was an excellent base of operations for us to travel around the Front Range for 10 days, including attending a destination wedding in Goldin. We were 2 generations (3 couples), and we had sufficient room, comforts, and views to keep us all happy. The food available just downhill in Nederland and other nearby places was a big plus. "Half-day-Ray", the neighbor living above the garage, was good company and full of local intelligence about how to deal with the Cold Creek Fire. It started puffing smoke on the day we arrived but stayed a safe distance away on the other side of the Boulder reservoir. Highly recommend!"

  • Great location, beautiful development, some house issues

"Slopeside is a gorgeous development with 2 convenient shuttle stops to Winter Park. We stayed at this house for a family ski vacation, but had some young children who needed to come home for naps, and we were able to get back and forth from the resort easily and quickly. While the house was comfortably furnished, the heating system was impossible to regulate. We set the thermostate to 74 when we arrived. However, the large master bedroom upstairs was always cold, no matter what setting. And the downstairs bedrooms were either freezing or incredibly hot. Judi was very helpful, and did a great job overall, but there were issues with the lock box (incorrect code was given to us) and with the baby gear that we reserved in advance (pack'n'play and highchair). These issues were resolved, but it wasn't a great way to start our vacation. All in all, we had a wonderful time in this house-- we loved the hot tub (seemed new, very clean, really lovely, very close by) and the fireplace. The kitchen was once of the best stocked kitchens we've ever had in a vacation rental."
