  • Wonderful cabin

"My family spend one week staying in this wonderful cabin. It's really more of a four bedroom 2 bath house. It is an older home, so comfortable and cozy, kind of reminds you of staying at grandma's house growing up. The cabin was very clean and orderly upon our arrival. There were 5 members in our family so everyone had their on bedroom. We loved all the space this cabin offers for everyone to spread out. The cabin is very well stock for a pleasant stay. You can tell this cabin is loved by the owner family. We saw elk and mule deer on several occasions in the yard and surrounding areas. We liked the convenient location of the cabin next to the Beaver Meadows entrance RMNP. You can see the park entrance from the cabin deck. We used this as home base for all our week's activities which included, drives and hikes in the park, horseback trail rides, rafting trip, downtown shopping, Stanley Hotel tour, trip to Boulder, etc. We would certainly recommend this to others and stay here again ourselves. The owner family was very pleasant to work with. I would challenge anyone to find this much square footage for the money in Estes Park. Many people pay more and stay in a smaller sterile condo but we certainly enjoyed the quaint charm of this cabin."

  • couldn't' have asked for more

"NIcki's North Boulder home was PERFECT! VERY clean and comfortably furnished. Two master suites worked out very nicely for our family. North Boulder was great; close enough to do Downtown activities, but then go "home" to peace and quiet while still having everything we could want close by....Good shopping and restaurants within a walk. NIcki was wonderful to work with too....renting her home made our vacation extra special."

  • Great location - classic cabin!

"My husband and I, along with his brother & wife traveled to Estes Park to celebrate turning 50 this past year. The Shawnee Cabin was a great location for our trip. It was located on the west end of Estes Park – which allowed easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin is classic with many original features (windows, wood trim, etc.) but with the amenities you need (hot shower, comfortable beds, etc.) A previous post indicated that one of the beds rolled to the middle. While we slept in the larger bed, our travel mates indicated that the bed was comfortable. The cabin was closer to the neighboring cabins than we had anticipated from the photos, but we rarely saw any activity come from any of the other cabins and the cabin (& neighborhood) were very quiet. We cooked breakfast & dinner each evening at the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked – cookware was nothing fancy, but it was functional. We used the outdoor grill several times which was a plus! Shawnee Cabin was a peaceful retreat at the end of each fun-filled day."

  • Comfy, clean, and cool condo

"Enjoyed the condo as a home-base for day hikes in the mountains and dining and imbibing in Boulder. All expected amenities in tip top shape. Very pet friendly area (a local cat made friends with our dog on the balcony). Boulder's best restaurants, distilleries, and breweries within 10 minutes. Eldorado State Park best bet for novice hikers. Flatirons for the best views."
