  • Comfortable nice layout

"There was plenty of room to share meals and just hang out after a day in the park. It is nice that that all the bedrooms are upstairs so early risers can come down and make coffee without disturbing everyone else. The only drawback to this property is there is no view. You can't see the river for the row of houses across the street and behind you is a hillside."

  • Perfect!

"First, the owners are great, Diane was super responsive and answered any question I had before and during the stay. Second, is the house itself, the location was fantastic, and you can really tell that the owners care about the house. It was super clean and there was no detail missed, everything we needed was there, which I find is rare in my experience with renting vacation homes. It was definitely the most well appointed home we've rented and by far had the most comfortable bed. Getting a good nights sleep and feeling rested for the days adventures is important so one thing I like to point out is whether or not a bed is comfortable, and this one was :) We will definitely consider this our first choice place to stay should we find ourselves in Estes Park again!"

  • Outstanding location with great views

"This was a wonderful experience for everything to do with Rocky Mountain National Park. It didnt hurt that we woke up to an entire herd of elk right outside our home. Watching these magnificient animals was a real treat. We also spent every day hiking in multiple parts of the park! It was easy, close access to the park so got to watch the elk in horesshoe park and sheeps lake. We drove to Grand Lake one day and hiked a trail on the way so all in all we were on an outside, hiking trip. Now onto the house! It was perfect for us. There are three nice bedrooms, a dining room overlooking the mountains as well as a nice kitchen. The master bedroom is upstairs and waking up "in the mountains" was really great! We slept with the upstairs doors open and it was perfect weather. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook. We cooked most nights choosing to not fight the crowd during elk fest. The Dunraven Inn has excllent food and located near the house. I highly suggest it! The owner also contacted me a few times as well and it was nice to know if we needed anytning he was available. Overall a wonderful home, located in proximity to the park and a great way to spend time in the mountains!!"

  • Fun family getaway

"Margie is the best! She is very responsive and accommodating. The home was very unique and super comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed to stay in the mountains for our family getaway. The home has these large, clear windows and we ate dinner while watching the elk graze in the front yard. We had fun making s'mores and we loved how authentic this home felt. This house is 2 blocks from the Safeway and a quick drive to downtown or the Stanley. We had a great stay and will definitely come back!"
