  • Ironman Boulder Stay

"This beautiful home and location was perfect for my family while I was heading into my final days of training and racing Ironman Boulder. The location was private enough for my family to enjoy the nature of Colorado but just close enough to attend all race required events without much hassel. Judith, the home owner, and Stephano, the property manager, were very friendly and attentive with their communications. We would definitely stay at this location again if our travels bring us back to Boulder. You should know up front, that even though you pay a house cleaning fee, they do ask you to tend to some laundry before departing, so plan this into your travel schedule."

  • Nice clean place right in town!

"A very clean place with everything you need for a stay in town. You can walk to downtown and also to a nice hiking path along the river. Even though you are next to the house, it is private. There are college kids living nearby and all around, so the noise level is a little higher at night. However, it was not really a big problem with the air conditioning running at night (quietly) and the windows closed. Expect a cramped bathing area which was built into the sloping roof (it is really just a bath, although you can shower on your knees) not a real problem for us, but might be for an elderly person. We also wish it had a screen on the bedroom to open up in those fantastic Colorado mornings! All in all, it was really a nice, very clean place in which we enjoyed. We would stay again and recommend it."

"Ahhhhmazing! We just spent a week at this lovely home and everything about the experience exceeded our expectations!! Our clan included 3 families, with kids ranging in age from 7-18. The "dirt road" leading up to the home was a little daunting at first, but was we drove it over and over, our mini vans had no problem "off roading"! The house is about an hour drive from literally everything. We couldn't have picked a more centrally located home base! The house itself has everything you could possibly need and/or want. No need to overpack, the washer/dryer was one of the best amenities! There is a guide on the table that explains everything you need to know about the house, and local secrets (the sun dance cafe has wonderful breakfasts - share a plate, portions are enormous & delicious). Owners are super attentive, we had (what we thought was) a problem mid week and the owner had a maintenance man on the property nearly immediately (turns out we were just idiots 😬). The views from the balcony are unbelievable, there are a couple of elk that frequent the train tracks below, and you can easily hear the crick babbling. Two giant thumbs up from Themis crew!!"

  • Great experience

"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home in August. Every thing about the home was perfect. We appreciated the welcoming gift- it was very thoughtful. We saw over 50 elk./ also saw mule deer across the street. We had a great dinner at Twin Oak. (fine dining). Enjoyed the western show at Lazy "B". Drove to Grand Lake. Also walked around Bear Lake and Sprague Lakes (easy walks- approx.. one mile each). Highly recommend this home. Location is close to town. Katie and Don were great to work with! Joan/Roger"
