  • Great Family Experience at the Peaceful Cabin

"Our family of four had a great time visiting Estes Park. The cabin was very well stocked and had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Sherry had binders with maps and other National Park information that was helpful and interesting to read through. We didn't see any elk, moose, or bears near the cabin as we had hoped, but with two teenage girls going in and out, the yard at the cabin wasn't exactly quiet. I did not need to worry about contacting Sherry about anything other than the initial set up and making sure we had access etc. Sherry had everything taken care of before I needed to ask. The cabin is in a great location central to everything we wanted to see. We spent two days hiking the trails, another day riding horses in RMNP, another day we took the Rocky Mountain Rush rockin' roller coaster tour which were all awesome! We ran out of days before we got a chance to do everything we wanted. This is such a beautiful area - I'd love to go back and this cabin would be at the top of our list to return to! I would definitely recommend this as a rental to my friends and family. Oh yes, one last thing - Smokin' Dave's was amazing and lived up to it's reputation."

  • Beautiful House in the Mountains

"This was my first time in Boulder Colorado and only 2nd time in America, having been to Florida in 2009. Boulder area is so much nicer than Florida, it's a beautiful town, no high rise, good restaurants and plenty to do, from Indoor Rock Climbing without ropes, Free Running (Apex) for my son, a creek that goes through boulder and beautiful walks etc,. Now the House, which is 15/20 minutes from Boulder (best Road to go up and down is Lee Hill Drive), The House is beautiful and very well maintained. The Ground floor has the Pool/Table Tennis, Darts and Wii in and is great, my teenagers have much improved at Pool and Darts. The 2nd Bedroom is on this floor and has a large Bed and lovely ensuite, my daughter (13) loved it. The living/Kitchen area is great and Kitchen is very well equipped although could do with more knives and forks as had to keep getting them out of the dish washer. The TV area is great as well and all four of us could easily sit on the sofa to watch a film. This floor also has a good utility and bathroom opposite the 3rd Bedroom which is smaller but still a good size, only downside is that if the bed is made into a double/king it's quite short (my son is 6ft) and the bed has a dip in the middle (which could be rectified by putting a quilt or something underneath), he therefore slept sideways, but by the end of the two weeks was complaining that his back was hurting as the bed is not as comfortable as the 2nd and Master Bedroom. Master Bedroom, is huge, with lovely on suite, Bed is extremely comfortable. The outside space is great with the creek, gazebo etc,. It's a very lovely house and was very enjoyable. There are Road Repairs going on at the moment, but we were very lucky that they did not affect us at the time of our holiday. Would recommend Eldorado Springs (outside pool with slide and diving board great for kids) and mountain trail. Chautauqua has lovely walks and a good park and Restaurant too. Had a great holiday, Marcus was always extremely helpful would recommend."

"Ahhhhmazing! We just spent a week at this lovely home and everything about the experience exceeded our expectations!! Our clan included 3 families, with kids ranging in age from 7-18. The "dirt road" leading up to the home was a little daunting at first, but was we drove it over and over, our mini vans had no problem "off roading"! The house is about an hour drive from literally everything. We couldn't have picked a more centrally located home base! The house itself has everything you could possibly need and/or want. No need to overpack, the washer/dryer was one of the best amenities! There is a guide on the table that explains everything you need to know about the house, and local secrets (the sun dance cafe has wonderful breakfasts - share a plate, portions are enormous & delicious). Owners are super attentive, we had (what we thought was) a problem mid week and the owner had a maintenance man on the property nearly immediately (turns out we were just idiots 😬). The views from the balcony are unbelievable, there are a couple of elk that frequent the train tracks below, and you can easily hear the crick babbling. Two giant thumbs up from Themis crew!!"

  • Ideal home!

"This is a beautiful home and the owners added the perfect touches to make us feel comfortable and cozy. We had six adults in this home for a week and we never felt crowded. We could spread out between the media room, living room, and outdoor spaces without feeling like we were on top of each other, and would could come together for cooking and meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The owners suggested some activities that we took advantage of which were definitely not in a tourist book and a lot of fun. Overall, a memorable vacation at a great house!"
