  • Gorgeous Cabin in Excellent Location

"I celebrated getting married with a mini-honeymoon here with 10 of our friends who were in town for the wedding. We had an amazing time. From the ease of access to the cabin to the already heated hot tub, everything was thoughtfully set up and wonderful to enjoy. We watched the super moon lunar eclipse from the spacious porch and dined family style at the giant farmhouse table. And then when we were too full to move, we put a movie on the Roku and relaxed on the giant comfy couches. The location in Estes is perfect - just minutes from town but still feeling isolated in the Colorado wilderness. While there we saw elk, hawks, rabbits, and deer. I highly recommend the Chalet for a wonderful getaway!"

  • 2 miles from RMNP

"We liked the convenience of entering the park from this property...only 2 miles down the road. The downtown area is also easily accessible. Fall River provided an ideal "fishing hole" just a few steps from the back door. If your purpose for staying is to have a "center of operation" for sleeping, eating, and showering while you take in all that RMNP has to offer, then this cabin will suit you fine. If you are looking for privacy and seclusion, be prepared for the condos/lodge right across the stream. These guests have a balcony view right into your living room, master bedroom, and hot tub. The description of the property acknowledges this, and it wasn't a concern for us since we were away exploring the park during the day."

  • beautiful home, quiet & secluded

"If you like a clean, well maintained home to stay in, this is it. We felt welcome the minute we walked in the door. The sound of the Big Thompson River was relaxing. This home is in the second tier of homes in Blue Spruce Village, so it's not directly on the river, but less than a 30 second walk and you're at the bridge where you can watch and listen to the water. The 2-1/2 baths were great for our family of four. We had mule deer eating on the shrubs right outside the house 2 mornings of our stay. It was a beautiful sight to wake up to. If we ever come back to Estes, we would definitely want to stay here again."

  • Great location

"We had a wonderful stay at Shana and Doug's home. It was very clean, comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do in Boulder. The Wonderlake area is quiet and and nice place to start hiking on nearby trails. Within walking is a great market, bakery, cafe and Spanish restaurant."
