  • Lovely spot in a great location

"The Fryehouse is a lovely spot to take in Boulder's sights. The deck is gorgeous and overlooks the Flatirons, the space is clean and modern, and the kitchen is well appointed. Vivian and Lonny are great hosts, they are available at the drop of the hat but respect your privacy and personal space. I love their dog Blue, he's a big sweetheart and the chickens are so much fun to watch. This spot is a gem, so close to Pearl Street that you don't need to rent a car, and in a historic neighborhood. I'm looking forward to coming back."

"Our whole family enjoyed this vacation. Our two sons, their wives and kids stayed in this wonderful mountain log home. The Master Suite was home to our son, and his wife with their new baby. The older grand kids stayed in the sleeper cabin; what a treat for an 8 and 10 year old! Our other son stayed in the King Bedroom. The kitchen is new, as are the cooking utensils, pots, pans. We stayed and grilled most evenings, and ate outside on the deck. The Fire Pit in the cool evenings was the favorite spot for campfire stories and Smores! The men hiked Long's Peak. The women spent time shopping. The grand kids loved Fun City! We will be back for another vacation at this incredible mountain retreat. Thank you for the memorable time."

  • Perfect location and amenities galore for families

"Our family enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this property in Aug 2016 - 6 adults and 5 kids under 7 years old.....we were visiting family in the area and attending some baseball games. This was our first ever vacation rental experience and we will definitely do it again! The homeowners provided all necessary info and were flexible with us....the home had EVERYTHING you could need, especially with small children. Pair that with grocery delivery from Safeway and it was a no hassle vacation. We saved money in the end as hotel was about same cost and we only spent $100 on groceries vs eating out every meal. I really crunch the numbers on vacation costs and this was truly a great value. My personal favorite on this property was the backyard....it was serene next to the creek and everyone (including adults) enjoyed the tire swing. Location was easy, convenient, so close to trails....can't say enough good things. We will be back!"

  • Super Unique Property

"This was a very unique home and was an amazing experience just walking thru the house the first time. So many different things to enjoy from the NOLO styled art work to the colorful tile- and the views from upstairs were fantastic every morning. We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed day trips around the area during the day. Keep in mind this house is fairly secluded and you will access it up a steep, bumpy, dirt road. But the drive is worth it. My mother in law was with us and she enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen and I enjoyed not having to cook!!! My only complaint is that this house was surrounded by trees and about 90% of the windows had no screens. So the upstairs was either very warm because we couldnt open the windows or we had tons of bugs. After the first night we went to the hardware store and bought mosquito nets to cover the windows. Problem solved."
