  • Awesome Family Vacation

"This is our 2nd visit to the cabin with our family and we enjoyed as much if not more than we did last year. So much to do and see on the property and surrounding areas. Views are breathtaking and the cabin has everything that you need and more for a relaxing vacation. Great suggestions for hikes and dining in the area or the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to do your own cooking. Remote enough to see plenty of wildlife and not be bothered with neighbors, but close enough to visit Estes Park for shopping or dining and of course, Rocky Mountain National Park. Other than spending time with our family, who now live in other states, my favorite thing this year was hiking Alberta Falls and The Loch. Such beauty all around outside and the cabin is decorated beautifully with lots of information inside the cabin to help you really enjoy your stay. Ready to plan our next trip back."

  • Beautiful Home, Perfect Location

"My family (8 adults, 3 teenagers, and 4 toddlers) used the Ranch and Guest house over Christmas. We absolutely loved it. It was a wonderful place for the the entire family. We ate all but one dinner and one breakfast in as the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals for the family and had appropriate pots/pans/utensils and needed plates and dishes. The owners were wonderful and very responsive when we had an issue with the heating. I couldn't recommend this property more! It's close to Rocky Mountain National Park and to Estes Park. We had daily visits from the local wildlife (elk, deer, turkey, and a fox one morning). Looking out of the large window was like watching a beautiful constantly changing post card. We really enjoyed Snowy Peaks Winery. Their staff was extremely friendly and they even have a play area for small children. We also highly recommend Ed's Cantina & Grill (it was recommended to us by the staff at Snowy Peaks). Again the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating of our large group."

  • Family Get Away

"My husband, my two children and their families, and I stayed at this wonderful cabin/home in June. It is very well supplied, maintained, homey, and did I mention beautiful? The day we arrived, there was a large elk in the neighbors front yard. We saw several mule deer as well during our stay. The garage is an additional bonus. One of my concerns was enough hot water for all - this was no problem. The owners were very accommodating. We all would highly recommend this property. Thank you Katie and Don for a great vacation!"

  • Wonderful time in the mountains, in a perfect home

"This was approximately our eighth stay at the Twin Owls House, and it was fantastic as always. The house is large and clean, and with the owners living right next door, if anything should go wrong, it is quickly dealt with. The location of the house is nearly perfect for our family. It's tucked into a quiet neighborhood, and yet one can walk to downtown Estes Park in about 15 minutes (and thus avoid having to find a place to park). We see elk wondering through the property almost every day. My wife cannot get enough of the shady hammock. I give the Twin Owls House my highest possible recommendation."
