  • Winter/ski holiday 2016/17

"We found the location of this house ideal. It is in a quiet residential area in East Vail within walking distance (200 yards) of the free shuttle bus service for access to Vail. In fact with hire cars we did not use this service, but saw plenty of buses and being at the terminus there appeared to be no trouble finding space on the bus. Car access to Vail and the other ski centres was easy by freeway or local road. The house was very well equipped with spacious public rooms. The hot tub was well used and also the bar-b-q. There were plenty of games for evening entertainment as well as the TV/music system. The fridge and cupboards were well stocked with items that you might not have on your shopping list and this made settling in much more comfortable. The heating system kept you warm. Our "landlady" was very helpful and attentive to any enquiries. We did not have any real issues. Back to situation. There were wonderful mountain views, which we felt must be just as beautiful in summer. Designated walks are very close by, 300 yards, for non skiers in winter as well as hikers in summer. We were a family group of 8 persons, including 3 youngsters, and we enjoyed a very happy holiday. John Kinley UK and New Zealand. December 2016"

  • Great condo

"This a lovely refurbished 2 bed 2 bath condo with great views and is ski in ski out. Would thoroughly recommend to stay here. It is in an older building, but nothing old about the condo itself."

  • Vail Valhalla

"The apartment was very conveniently located to the Gondola One in the heart of Vail, and to the restaurants. It was well-appointed, and was actually more spacious than we expected from the photos. The couch in the living room, was very comfortable for sleeping (often fold-out sofas are not). It was a pleasant surprise to have the housekeepers come everyday. The condo was part of the Christiana Hotel, so we were offered "membership" to the Vitality Centre around the corner. That was a real bonus - yoga, sauna, spa. Our only complaint is the fire alarm went off (very loudly) almost every time we had something on the stove. It was just a little smoke too. Suggest it is turned off, (probably illegal) or have a better working vent system above the hotplates. We wouldn't hesitate to book here again when we come back."
