  • BEST location! Very responsibleAnd reliable owner! For sure coming back!

"4 of us in the condo with plenty of room! Furnished beautifully with excellent quality bedding. We were myself my son and another couple and it was a perfect fit! Watching the snow fall while sipping coffee in front of the fire place was how our mornings started! The owner sent us a PDF and helped us w everything. They organize for their renters a discounted ski rental that saved us a lot of money! They have great restaurants info as well as other activities. We had one question and our text was answered in mins. The condo is located just next to the gondola right near the little Nell. Makes it very easy to be anywhere without a car!! That will be where we will be staying for all our aspen visits!!! Thank you,"

  • Great Condo on Aspen Mountain

"My girlfriends and I stayed here for a four-day weekend and really loved this condo. There were six of us, yet we had plenty of room to spread out. It has a large living area with an open kitchen/island area and lots of counter space in bathrooms. The location is excellent - a short walk to the gondola, restaurants, and the transit center. The owner was very easy to reach and accommodating about arrival and departure times. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

  • Family Long Stay

"Our family from Australia stayed in this property from 5 Dec 2015 - 23 Jan 2016 . Together with our three kids (8, 11, 13) and their grandfather, we quickly felt like 981 King Street was home. Jeff is a wonderful host and a thoughtful manager – he decorated the house for Christmas and ensured the property was well maintained throughout our stay, from clearing snow to ensuring the hot tub was serviced, clean and…hot. The property has plenty of space for a large family with an sunny living / dining / lounge room, everything you’d need (and more) in the kitchen, lots of linen and low maintenance hard wood floors. The walk in robe in the Master bedroom is enormous, and there is plenty of storage / cupboards around the house – which was great for our long stay. We were also well catered for when taking a day off the mountain with new TV and cable, high speed Wi-fi, board games, books as well as lots of space for the kids to play outside, including around the lovely pond (and down to the river). You get unobstructed views of the mountain - great for the fireworks (from the hot-tub if you like...). It's in a quieter no night or day noise ... and it’s an easy walk downtown but it is also very close to the free Hunter Creek bus (only 2 stops to City Market...but I'd recommend Clarkes). You don’t need a car but if you have one, you can easily park 2 or 3 off the street. Can’t recommend this property enough – Jeff is a great guy and makes sure your stay in one of his properties will be comfortable and memorable."

  • It's All About The more!

"This property has beautiful views of the mountains stretching from Aspen mountain to Snowmass and beyond! As an added bonus, you get to see airplanes arrive & depart from the Aspen airport (your own daily air show)! But, you are far enough away from the airport and hwy 82 that the noise factor is minimal. The description of the home is correct...elegant, chic, funky. This house is NOT "over the top Aspen glitzy"'s more fun & has more character. You enter the home on the level where you find the guest bedroom & bath. The loft is a steep climb from the entry level (has a bed in the loft, but basically this area just serves to enhance the property by giving it higher ceilings). The main living area & master bedroom/bath is downstairs from the entry. The master bedroom is big and has a comfortable queen bed along with a claw foot tub in one corner of the room...the master bath also serves as the main floor bathroom. This bathroom has a "sunken, open shower" which is cool, but has a few deep steps to get into it (no annoying glass shower doors to keep clean). If stairs bother you, this may not be the right place for you, but we found it easy & comfortable and the stairs were just part of our daily workout. We travel with 2 dogs who are part of our family...there are no trails within walking distance from the property, but a short car trip down the mountain hooks you up with many trails to walk, bike or hike. Personally, all I ask is if you rent this property (and you should) that you properly pick up and dispose of any pet waste (even in "natural areas" waste builds up and should be removed) ...respect the property. The owner lives in an attached house, but you rarely see her and the homes are built in such a way that privacy is not an issue."
