  • Wonderful Anniversary vacation with our family and friends!!

"We were so pleased with this amazing house by Aspen. It was so much more then we imagined. We had 11 of us celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary. Plenty of room for everyone! Loved the views, balcony and especially the path down to the river. We spent a lot of time down there as well as in the screened cabin by the river. Every morning as our guests awakened, we all met on the balcony. The views of the mountains were amazing! The sounds of the river flowing were so relaxing. We will definitely be back! We did not want to leave. It's also in a great location! Thank you Bill and Terri! You have an amazing house!"

  • So convenient....Perfect location

"For Christmas this year, I took my twin 19y/o sons to Aspen. This unit was just perfect. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom and neither one is any better than the other. There are plenty of full length mirrors in the bathrooms and throughout the unit to check your style :) The guest bathroom has really bright lights for ladies makeup. Both bathrooms have hair dryers for those of us with hair. The beds were comfy and the sheets silky. The unit is located on the bottom floor and runs the full depth of the building. Its quiet and convenient to get in and out of. The kitchen is fully equipped if you wish to cook. Essential staples are there like coffee filters, baggies, garbage bags, TP. Channel 82 will give you all the local information and ski reports No car is needed. We rode in from Denver on the Colorado Mntn Express (CME). Its a long ride but comfortable. Rent your gear from 4 mountain sports. They are conveniently located at the base of each of the 4 mountains. Buttermilk is just about the only one with any green slopes. We spent our time on Aspen Mountain, Highlands and Snowmass. There are some terrific runs. 4 Mountain will store your skis each night and transport the between mountains. I carried my ski boots and wore my walking boots on the buses between mountains . Just store your walking shoes at 4 mountains. Its all so easy. Rubey park is where you pick up the buses between mountains; its all free and the buses come ever 6 or 7 min during peak times. City Market for groceries is .4 mile walk Aspen Mountain and 4 mountain sports rental is .3 mile walk Rubey park transit station is .3 mile walk, Loads of restaurants within .2-.3 mile walk. Even with it being cold out, we walked everywhere. Thank you John for a wonderful opportunity to stay in your condo in beautiful Aspen. We make life time friends while there. Teresa"

  • True Aspen Experience

"Great location to experience Aspen. Pick up and drop off out side at all times, be it Aspen, Highlands or Snowmass. Wonderful accommodation, all needs covered over and above expectations. Down to nitty gritty.....Great beds/ pillows, showers, warmth, kitchen/dining and relaxation facilities. Top it off with snow and spring sunshine....in February. Ticked all the boxes!"

  • Family Long Stay

"Our family from Australia stayed in this property from 5 Dec 2015 - 23 Jan 2016 . Together with our three kids (8, 11, 13) and their grandfather, we quickly felt like 981 King Street was home. Jeff is a wonderful host and a thoughtful manager – he decorated the house for Christmas and ensured the property was well maintained throughout our stay, from clearing snow to ensuring the hot tub was serviced, clean and…hot. The property has plenty of space for a large family with an sunny living / dining / lounge room, everything you’d need (and more) in the kitchen, lots of linen and low maintenance hard wood floors. The walk in robe in the Master bedroom is enormous, and there is plenty of storage / cupboards around the house – which was great for our long stay. We were also well catered for when taking a day off the mountain with new TV and cable, high speed Wi-fi, board games, books as well as lots of space for the kids to play outside, including around the lovely pond (and down to the river). You get unobstructed views of the mountain - great for the fireworks (from the hot-tub if you like...). It's in a quieter neighbourhood..so no night or day noise ... and it’s an easy walk downtown but it is also very close to the free Hunter Creek bus (only 2 stops to City Market...but I'd recommend Clarkes). You don’t need a car but if you have one, you can easily park 2 or 3 off the street. Can’t recommend this property enough – Jeff is a great guy and makes sure your stay in one of his properties will be comfortable and memorable."
