  • Family Long Stay

"Our family from Australia stayed in this property from 5 Dec 2015 - 23 Jan 2016 . Together with our three kids (8, 11, 13) and their grandfather, we quickly felt like 981 King Street was home. Jeff is a wonderful host and a thoughtful manager – he decorated the house for Christmas and ensured the property was well maintained throughout our stay, from clearing snow to ensuring the hot tub was serviced, clean and…hot. The property has plenty of space for a large family with an sunny living / dining / lounge room, everything you’d need (and more) in the kitchen, lots of linen and low maintenance hard wood floors. The walk in robe in the Master bedroom is enormous, and there is plenty of storage / cupboards around the house – which was great for our long stay. We were also well catered for when taking a day off the mountain with new TV and cable, high speed Wi-fi, board games, books as well as lots of space for the kids to play outside, including around the lovely pond (and down to the river). You get unobstructed views of the mountain - great for the fireworks (from the hot-tub if you like...). It's in a quieter neighbourhood..so no night or day noise ... and it’s an easy walk downtown but it is also very close to the free Hunter Creek bus (only 2 stops to City Market...but I'd recommend Clarkes). You don’t need a car but if you have one, you can easily park 2 or 3 off the street. Can’t recommend this property enough – Jeff is a great guy and makes sure your stay in one of his properties will be comfortable and memorable."

  • Awesome!

"This condo was perfect for my family of 4. Nice furnishings and very comfortable. The location was fantastic. Just a quick walk to the slopes or into town to shop. If we didn't feel like walking there was a very convenient free shuttle. The Gant has great amenities and my kids loved the pool, hot tubs, and the snack bar at the conference center. A fantastic trip and I'll be back next year."

  • Our stay was very nice!

"As one of the other reviewers stated, and he's right, this place is great, but it's a bit dated.....Original mid-century furniture makes a great statement, just don't expect 'glitz'....expect 'comfortable' and well-used..... Having said that, it's also very complete, very comfortable, and very functional......Just get some new pillows for the extra pillow stash......small fix, big impression.... House has LOTS of towels, etc, etc......It really was everything we needed for our 10-day stay... And, the neighborhood is great.....quiet, backs up to an interesting historical cemetery, and is convenient, if not real close to town.....We never really had an issue with getting to/from town.....If you're new to Aspen like we were, it take a bit of learning to figure out the parking, but once you figure it out, it's great! Hint: Use the Rio Grande parking lot, and stay parked until after 6pm...most days we got out free of charge.....! Overall, this was a great place to stay....I'd rent it again....!"
