  • SIMPLY AWESOME

"We just got back from a summer holiday week with my wife and adult children at this house, and I have to tell say it's one of the greatest houses we've ever rented. Start with it being in the private Beaver Creek resort and even more private Enclave near the golf course - with a wonderful mountain view out back and Eagle Creek making wonderful background noise either when you;re on the bog deck or else lulling you to sleep at night. Then there are the facilities: 5 bedrooms and 5+ baths, including a complete downstairs suite perfect for a young family or teenagers. to be by themselves. Big family room connected to the kitchen in a wonderful open floor plan. Washer / dryer..everything we needed. It's about a mile from the Beaver Creek Village, and minutes by car to Vail, Eagle Vail, Edwards..brew pubs...golf..hiking..everything. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, and the local manager was 100% responsive - even early on a Sunday morning when we needed the wifi code. Stay here. It's awesome. But if you want to go next summer, better book now because we are going back."

  • Beautiful unit for a summer family stay

"I think his was the nicest room at The Charter and we loved the setup. Close to the village, 5 minute walk, and a great pool and spa. We had our kids and they loved everything including the amazing beds! No AC in the unit, but we had no problem with the cool nights, but just an FYI. The fridge broke when we were there which was no ones fault and the owner give us a credit for loss groceries AND headache. We will definitely look to come back! Some odd hours of operation for the in facility restaurant, but good food when opened."

  • Great unit with a great location to the ski slope.

"The place was every bit as good as it was advertised to be. I would definitely stay there again on a return trip to Beaver Creek."

  • Very nice condo convenient to the slopes, but not ski in, ski out

"We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was roomy, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with ample dishes, pans, etc. One suggestion is to change the tvs to be current models, larger flat screen tvs are more appropriate for a "luxury" condo. The location is great - Arrowhead was very nice. It is a lot less busy than the other two base areas at Beaver Creek. Lots of "older" folks like ourselves and families. I take exception to the condo description that the condo is "ski-in, ski-out." Yes, the lift is a short walk (however longer than the described 50 yards), but the term "ski-in, ski-out" means you step outside, glide to the lift and you can glide back to be close to the condo - in this case I thought that would be a simple short walk either way to the snow - the 50 yard walk mentioned the description. In reality you walk a short distance to the lift, carrying your skis, walk up about 12 steps just before you get to the lift area, up to the snow, put your skis on and THEN glide to the lift. (Reverse for returning to the condo.) Its was no big deal, but for the sake of clarity, the condo description should say something like "100 yard walk to the lift," and delete the "ski-in, ski-out" statement. We ended up carrying our boots and skis to the lift area, put on our boots, put the shoes in the restaurant's locker area and then walked to the lift. (Plenty of people just walked in their boots from their condos) The base area was very nice with a cafeteria style restaurant (open for breakfast, lunch and apres' ski). The outdoor deck area was great for lunch, breaks, and drinks after skiiing. There is a ski rental location on site, but interestingly they did not offer "sport" level skis for beginners. Just mid level and performance skis. We rented the beginner ski's in Avon at Christy's. I was disappointed there was no ski valet as a part of the base amenities, particularly after seeing that the set up was not ski-in, ski-out. At other base areas there is a valet service (for a fee) where you can leave your ski's and boots (on dryers) overnight. It is well worth the extra $12 or so dollars per night I paid at Vail last year. With these few fairly petty concerns, I still rate this condo as a 5. Just be aware of the "ski-in, ski-out" description is not quite correct. The owner was responsive and the entire arrangement from start to finish was easy. Thanks, Bhim!"
