  • Perfect ski in and ski out home for 6-8 people. Well maintained!!

"Our family stayed here for a short ski vacation. It was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. It had a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The TV and wifi worked perfect and the washing machine and dishwasher worked also. It was so fun to ski in and out and come home for lunch. We will be back!! Thanks Dave!!"

  • Hope to visit this home again

"Our goal, every year, is to get out family together for a Christmas on the slopes. It is one of two or three times each year we have the opportunity to be in one place. I was looking for a place big enough to hold all of us, enough beds and bathrooms, and close enough to eliminate the early morning rush to, or evening rush from the mountains. The Mountain Retreat delivers on all of those and did so at a reasonable price. If you're looking for glitz and glamour this isn't the place, but if you're looking for a well stocked kitchen, large table to eat together, or place for family to relax in front of a fireplace, beds for all, and a great location, this has it. It's a little dated, but who cares... Mtn is a short couple blocks walk to the Mountains in the morning, and a quick ski back, literally to the front of the property in the evening. As others have mentioned, there is two bedrooms on the main floor that share an entrance and a bathroom, a quirky design, but once again, who're two blocks from the mtn! One suggestion though, swap the queen and baby crib in the room attached to the master to the bedroom with the bunk room downstairs. I'm thinking having the parents / baby in their separate space and the bunk bed age kids (sleep all night) share the joint space might work better :) Overall, enjoyed our expierence, found the owners very easy to work with, loved some of the extras, like sleds for the little ones, and plan to use them again in the future!"

  • Lodge at Ski Hill was a great place.

"House was as advertised. Room for 20 and awesome kitchen set up. Right near Peak terrain park and gondola. Perfect location for doing Breckenridge. Would highly recommend it for large family or group vacations. Only negatives: surround sound in home theatre didn't work and the grounds could use some TLC and cleaning. Bayrats give the house two crab claws up!"

  • Great location, fabulous owner, everything you need for a wonderful stay!

"The owner was so responsive to all our questions and the house was everything we needed! The ski in/out was a little tricky (walking down the driveway and across the street to the run was challenging at altitude but the homeowners trail coming back was great...until the very end where we had a short ski down to the house from the trail which was not groomed) but overall, we had a fabulous time staying and skiing!"
