  • Breck is a Nice Break From the Heat

"Our family (including 5 adult children) had a wonderful summer vacation July 23-30, 2016, at this lovely home at 91 Sunbeam in Breckenridge! The weather in the summer there is perfect and a refreshing break from the brutal heat of a Texas summer. And the Frumess' home is a special retreat with every amenity you need, tons of space, and close to quaint downtown Breckenridge. We found the home to be even nicer than the pictures or descriptions. It was very clean and well-maintained, and the manager made sure we knew he was available for anything we needed. The directions and information the owner provided before arrival were very helpful. The comfort and beauty of this home made our vacation even more special. With 7 adults in the house, it was great to have so much room to spread out--5 bedrooms, each with its own bath. We enjoyed the hot tub each evening, along with the spacious deck, and gas grill. The kitchen (with brand new granite countertops) is well stocked and equipped with nice appliances and a large bar for the family to gather around. The fireplace warmed us up on chilly mornings and abundant windows opened to provide pleasant breezes in the late afternoons. The house is close enough to downtown to walk to the many excellent restaurants and shops, eliminating the need for driving and parking, or riding the free shuttle that stops nearby. It was a great place to reconnect with family and relax after a day of hiking a 14'er (Quandary Peak) or rafting through Brown Canyon (Professional Tours) or driving to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for an outdoor concert or strolling through the delightful downtown to shop, eat or relax by the Blue River and people-watch. Favorite restaurants were Motherload, Blue River, Eric's, Blue Moose, The Lost Cajun, Mary's Mountain Cookies, and Dredge. The Crepe A La Cart is a great way to end the day before relaxing with a movie in the downstairs TV room, reading a book, working a jigsaw puzzle or gazing at the stars from the deck. We will certainly return to this lovely home and encourage you to plan your family vacation here--just make sure to leave a week open for us!"

"My wife and I so enjoyed our time in this beautiful cottage. Beautiful décor and views of the ski slopes. Everything was walking distance away which made it very convenient. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it as a romantic get away for a couple. Very quiet and peaceful!"

  • Good location, enjoyed our visit.

"Home was clean and had ample room, even with a party of 8. Owners were very generous in getting us a blow up mattress for the additional bed. Kitchen is well stocked with pans and everything needed to make some great meals. Outside grille came in handy. Speaker sound system was great for music. No problem parking two SUV's. Location is a few blocks from downtown. We had unseasonably warm weather so furnished fans were not enough to cool home, but other than that, very pleasant experience."

  • Perfect Breck Rental

"The Safari Suite was everything my group of three total needed. We came for five nights to ski and enjoy Breck. The location of the Safari Suite allowed us to do both. The suite is a three minute walk in ski boots to the Gondola which services two very popular Breck peaks, 7 and 8. Also, the suite is located on Main Street and within walking distance of all of the main restaurants in Breck. As to the place, it is quite spacious. The pull-out couch is perfect for a third person and is conveniently in front of the TV and main window which has a SPECTACULAR view of the mountain. Further, the kitchen is very well stocked with the necessities for cooking any meal. The shower works exceptionally well with great pressure and heat, perfect after a day on the slopes. Lastly, we rented skis from Carvers and got a great deal by booking online. They do a great job and gave us great advice when choosing our skis. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoyed ours. Breck is an incredible town and ski mountain and this suite is perfectly situated in it. Cheers!"
