  • Comfortable and convenient

"This condo was my first VRBO and it was great. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was user-friendly, the place was clean and pretty quiet, and location very convenient for Peak 8 as well as nordic touring center. Place seemed a bit overheated and stuffy, but we were able to open the windows for cooling and fresh air. And the master bed frame is long relative to the space and it's easy to catch your shins on it as you squeeze by. We put a pillow next to it for protection."

  • Solid Condo

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Solid condo. For the price and location it was great. Beds were comfy and all furniture was in good condition. There were a few unique amenities that added a certain level of pa-nosh to the experience. For instance, the range is some kind of hybrid grill stove contraption, no doubt a relic left behind by those among "The Greatest Generation" that sort of gets hot on the grill side, but not really enough to cook anything. The toaster won my heart with its ability to toast only one side of a piece of bread. Because I don't want to give away and spoilers, I wont say which side of the toaster possesses this magical ability to perfectly toast the butt pieces of bread. Finally there was the balcony in the condo. Upon pulling down the ladder to access this upper oasis, we discovered a strange single twin mattress and pillow at the far end. Our anthropologist in the group was unable to determine the purpose of this single mattress, because it was located in this crawl space balcony it would not be used for normal recreational sleep. Current theories suggest that the space was maybe once used for mating purposes or to detain those suffering from "Mountain Madness". Some theories argue that perhaps the mattress always has been and always will be or that it may be able to open some kind of temporal time portal to alternate realities. Such is yet to be proven and perhaps the mystery of the mattress is one that man was not meant to answer, but I digress... Overall, the condo was great and the staff were always available to answer questions. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Nice, clean accommodations close to Peak 8.

"We enjoyed our week long stay. Found accommodations comfortable and clean. Parking is ample and close by. Condo is on 3rd floor so keep stairs in mind. Great views as a reward."

  • Nice condo unit, good location

"I enjoyed staying in this 2 bdr condo. It's a top floor unit with a vaulted ceiling and windows up high over the kitchen/living room area. The furnishings in the living room are good. The bunk bed with a double bed, both top and bottom, was nice, though in a small condo, the large mountain styled beds and dressers took up too much space. The kitchen is very functional with plenty of needed items. I believe this condo is listed as a "1-1/2 bath", but this isn't accurate - there is simply an extra sink in the hall, next to the bathroom. The bathroom is fine, but it is "shower only" (no bath, which was fine with us) and the pedestal sink in the bathroom is a strange fixture (no cabinet or storage). Minor point for a short stay. The location is good. It's a very short walk (200 yards?) to the black line bus stop that takes you 0.4 miles to the chairlifts (Peak 8). One suggestion to the owners: the lights in each bedroom includes wood boxes attached to the wall. The large compact fluorescent bulbs used stick out of the boxes and are blinding. We had to unscrew 1/2 the bulbs to make it half tolerable. Overall, a pleasant, easy place to stay and a reasonable (for Breck) rate, but not 5 stars."
