  • The Mountains are Calling! You Must Go!

"Leadville is the perfect town for a summer mountain hiking vacation, and this place is in the heart of it all. Large, spacious, and with good updating, it easily will hold 6 people with three bedrooms and two baths (unlike many owners who tend to over-state how many people their house can hold, the 6 stated is really 6). The large open floor plan (kitchen/Dining/Living room are all open) in the front of the house makes it seem even larger than it is, especially with 9 foot ceilings! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, with a nice new refrigerator and serviceable electric stove/oven. My only (sort of) negative comment isn't something that the owner can resolve: the historic houses on this street were built extremely close together, so the two adjacent houses are less than 10 feet on either side (see owners pic of the front, no surprises). You won't get anything in the way of mountain views from the side windows, SO GET OUTSIDE instead! 30 minute drive to Mount Elbert and Massive, and a short walk to downtown Leadville, 2 blocks to the train station for a tourist ride! I will stay here again next year (or sooner)!"

  • Perfect Location

"The location was very convenient to Main Street and winter activities. Main Street was within walking distance and the view off the back patio was beautiful. The condo and complex was very clean and working with Vacation Rentals was incredible. They responded to any questions I had before and during the trip and when we were having trouble with the WIFI, called us back immediately to assist. They were great! The unit itself was a little dated and could use a little facelift but it was cozy and warm. This unit was on the 2nd level although the complex does not have an elevator so if you have a lot of luggage, keep this in mind or if you have an elderly person in the group. The trip was great and we had a blast in all of the snow!"

  • Great Ski/In Ski/Out locating in Copper!

"Todd was great in giving directions to the condo, as well as providing covered parking. The condo was great. Perfect for 2 couples and 3 singles. It was very clean and had everything we needed for the kitchen to make our own meals. The only thing we didn't love was that pets are permitted in this condo, and there was dog hair on the carpets and couch from a previous renter, but it was not overly noticeable and the condo smelled fine. Also, this is not a ski/in ski out location for beginners as the Super Bee is mostly intermediate/advanced terrain, but the shuttles run every few minutes and make it super easy to get from one village to another! Would definitely stay here again when we come back to copper."

  • We had a great a family reunion !

"I rented the property for a family reunion (14 people) and we had a great time. The size of the house allowed us to stay comfortable. The property is secluded and very private. The Fireplace and the Jacuzzi worked very well. Claudia is very easy to work with, and answered my messages with questions very fast. We had a great time. Do not expect a luxury property, but a cozy cabin in surrounded by nature and close to everything (restaurants, ski resorts, tubing, etc). We liked it and would stay again!"
