  • Amazing place to stay

"My best friends and I were celebrating our 40th birthday and really lucked out with this beautiful home. We took advantage of the pool table, the expansive kitchen, and the family room where we watched the Super Bowl. Although the property was a little ways out of town, it was still a convenient drive to Frisco and Breckenridge. We skied Breckenridge, Keystone, and Vail and has no problems getting to any of those resorts. We also had no problem getting to Leadville to snowmobile the continental divide. Overall, it was an EPIC trip and much of the reason was this place that we rented. The house is huge with plenty of space to accommodate your group. Just be sure to drink a LOT of water prior to coming up. This place is close to 12000 feet up. One friend had issues adjusting to the altitude and needed to have an oxygen tank delivered. Fortunately, he was as good as new and was able to do some epic skiing after getting the oxygen. I would definitely rent this property again!!!"

  • Fabulous for a family getaway!

"We LOVED the chalet. We loved the fact that we felt tucked away in the mountains! The instructions to have four wheel drive were important because you really are "up" in the mountains and the driveway was steep, but we just used the snow shovels that were provided to clear the snow for my front wheel drive vehicle and were able to make it work. They also provided a little sled and it felt like we had everything we needed to make the trip a success. I enjoyed how well stocked the kitchen was and how nice the appliances were because we cooked together a lot. I loved the layout which included a loft, main floor and basement. The floor plan kept you together, but also gave us space to spread out. The chalet had all of the rustic appeal of the mountains, but with all of the modern conveniences. The water was always hot and the house was always at the perfect temperature and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. We enjoyed skiing and going down to town to shop. We also did the sleigh ride/dinner from the list of things to do in the house and we really, really enjoyed that. I would highly recommend this property!"

  • The property was beautiful it was a group of 10 and everyone had an amazing experience

"Scott was available at all times with any concern i had and was an incredible host. The cabin has amazing views, we enjoyed the entertainment room for the Super Bowl on his amazing brand new song big screen. The cabin has a full set kitchen with plates and cooking ware and actually included a couple of cooking products. The master bedroom and bathroom were very elegant and comfortable the showers will warm up quickly. I enjoyed that Scott had humifidiers across the cabin to help with the dryness of the weather and that he had a mini pharmacy in the cabin as well. Overall my group of 10 enjoyed the cabin so much we did not want to leave. Scott thank you so much for everything you did for my stay and hope to stay here again in the near future. If your thinking of booking with Scott don't even hesitate this is the cabin you want."

  • Pros and Cons

"Our family of 6 stayed at this home over Christmas. There were pros and cons. Pros: Lots of space. Nice, big kitchen with two ovens and huge frig. The views were gorgeous. Both of our SUV's fit in the garage. Beds were very comfortable. The fireplace in the living room with rocking chairs was so cozy and perfect for Christmas morning. We appreciated the manager setting up a Christmas tree with lights. My teens loved the shuffle board table in the game room. That was a huge hit! Cons: The fireplace outside was a huge selling point for us but once we got there, they said it was "off for the season". Property manager was unresponsive when I asked her about it, letting her know it was an important feature for our stay. The master bathroom shower water was warm for 3 minutes. Take your shower fast! The upstairs bedroom has no dresser and the closet racks were broken so no place to hang clothes. The owner said he would meet us there the day we arrived but he didn't show and his office manager said he was in Denver. She also said there was water and chocolates waiting for us at the house. There were none. I called in the morning to inquire about the condition of the roads leading up the mountain to the house, she said they were fine. Both of our SUV's got stuck going up that mountain. One of the vehicles slid backwards, close to the cliff. When I called the manager (from the side of the road) to ask what to do, she said to call AAA, which we don't have. Nice people stopped to put chains on our tired. I never heard again from the manager to see if we were ok. Make sure you have snow tires or chains during the winter. We were in a 2017 Ford Expedition and it didn't make it. The WiFi was very poor. We thought it was a bit of a drive to Breckenridge shopping/dining and Frisco so we won't stay there again but the house was nice but not excellent."
