  • Trip with friends

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I WOULD RECOMMEND BUT FIRST READ: Our trip overall went great. The house had all the things necessary to make a comfortable stay. I would say it is not as pristine as the pictures appear. What I mean by that is everything is a little dated. Compared to houses in the same price range this home could use updating (friends stayed 3-4 houses down). Love that is a Texas owner! Here is the details: GOOD: 1. space 2. kitchen 3. views of mountain/ slopes 4. small-wares and supplies 5. fireplaces (indoor and outside) 6. plenty of firewood (supplies to start fire) 7. Right next to free shuttle ride NOT SO GOOD: 1. mattresses are uncomfortable (minus downstairs king) 2. older home (needs a facelift) 3. bathroom size for downstairs king very small (not equal to upstairs) 4. part of cook-top doesn't work 5. TVs and sound system are older 6. Hot tub padding falling apart 7. No ceiling fans (portable wall plug in fans were provided) 8. Not a Ski IN/OUT (only intermediate+ could ski out and its NOT a ski in) Summit did not advertise it as such ... just want those thinking about it to know its not. Overall: Great location, space and views. House could use updating to match updated houses in the same price range."

  • Summer Getaway

"This townhouse is an awesome place to stay! Ski resort right behind the property and we hiked several trails this summer. Easy access and comfortable. Would stay here again!"

  • Awesome!

"A large group of girlfriends (16) rented this home for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. Everyone just loved it! It had beds for all. The 'dorm' room was even fun for us. It's a bedroom on the top floor with multiple twin beds set up and the ladies loved it. It was like being in camp again. There are plenty of areas to cuddle up and read if you need some quiet time, or the basement game room if you want company. We primarily hung out in the family room and chatted and played card games. We never had a problem with hot water, but we did stagger our shower times since it was such a large group. Also, the kitchen isn't very big and the layout is a bit funky, but we did.not.care! We did eat in one night and managed just fine. The location was great. It was a quick drive into town. No one in our group did the ski in/out so I can't really comment on that. Booking was easy and efficient and we had no issues. Every single lady said they wanted to come back to stay for the next celebration, so there's a good chance we'll be up next year!"

  • Beautiful Ski In / Ski Out Home

"We had a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) spend a long weekend at this beautiful home for Spring skiing. The home itself was excellent - plenty of living space, including a very nice fully equipped kitchen and spacious family room for our large group to hang out. The hot tub worked well (was heated upon our arrival so didn't have to wait), although it did take a while for the temperature in the house to get to a comfortable level. One thing to be aware of is that the Master bedroom is much larger and nicer than the other bedrooms; the others were fine but only one was truly a master (something to consider if you have multiple couples who like large bedrooms). The ski in / ski out worked really well. It is short walk from the home to a narrow trail that all of us could do (even relative beginners) - connects to green run (Lower Lehman). To ski back in to the home from the slopes was a bit more challenging, as you need to be able to ski down a black run (Peak 10) and then a slightly more challenging trail through the woods (narrow and a bit longer), but we had intermediate skiers able to manage (Peak 10 has groomed black runs that used to be "blue/black" - so not as difficult as some black trails). For those in our group who preferred not to ski in, the shuttle worked well - just be sure to call and reserve in advance as they can book up. But we did call in advance and it worked very well every time - they were on time and very nice and professional, and took us right to the home. Overall highly recommended - we will be back!"
