  • Beautiful Ski In / Ski Out Home

"We had a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) spend a long weekend at this beautiful home for Spring skiing. The home itself was excellent - plenty of living space, including a very nice fully equipped kitchen and spacious family room for our large group to hang out. The hot tub worked well (was heated upon our arrival so didn't have to wait), although it did take a while for the temperature in the house to get to a comfortable level. One thing to be aware of is that the Master bedroom is much larger and nicer than the other bedrooms; the others were fine but only one was truly a master (something to consider if you have multiple couples who like large bedrooms). The ski in / ski out worked really well. It is short walk from the home to a narrow trail that all of us could do (even relative beginners) - connects to green run (Lower Lehman). To ski back in to the home from the slopes was a bit more challenging, as you need to be able to ski down a black run (Peak 10) and then a slightly more challenging trail through the woods (narrow and a bit longer), but we had intermediate skiers able to manage (Peak 10 has groomed black runs that used to be "blue/black" - so not as difficult as some black trails). For those in our group who preferred not to ski in, the shuttle worked well - just be sure to call and reserve in advance as they can book up. But we did call in advance and it worked very well every time - they were on time and very nice and professional, and took us right to the home. Overall highly recommended - we will be back!"

  • Awesome!

"A large group of girlfriends (16) rented this home for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. Everyone just loved it! It had beds for all. The 'dorm' room was even fun for us. It's a bedroom on the top floor with multiple twin beds set up and the ladies loved it. It was like being in camp again. There are plenty of areas to cuddle up and read if you need some quiet time, or the basement game room if you want company. We primarily hung out in the family room and chatted and played card games. We never had a problem with hot water, but we did stagger our shower times since it was such a large group. Also, the kitchen isn't very big and the layout is a bit funky, but we did.not.care! We did eat in one night and managed just fine. The location was great. It was a quick drive into town. No one in our group did the ski in/out so I can't really comment on that. Booking was easy and efficient and we had no issues. Every single lady said they wanted to come back to stay for the next celebration, so there's a good chance we'll be up next year!"

"This townhouse is an awesome place to stay! Ski resort right behind the property and we hiked several trails this summer. Easy access and comfortable. Would stay here again!"

  • No place better than this!

"We've stayed at many places before but there's nothing that compares to the Breck House! For me it's the ultimate getaway with access to do everything my family likes. Whether you're a skier/snowboarder, hiker, etc the terrain, national forest and mountain are at your fingertips and the adventures are endless. If you'd rather kick your feet up, relax and just get away from everything, this is also the place for you. The relaxation of the mountains truly takes form here. Everything in this home is top of the line and as soon as you walk in, you're in awe. The kitchen is the center of the house and we prepare many of our meals here after stopping in town for any needs we have. It's very well equipped and is a lot of fun to hang out in as well. The living room is cozy and relaxing and has an amazing fire place that can heat the entire main floor and upstairs by itself. The main floor back patio looks out into the Arapaho National Forest, has a large grill and several seating options to kick back and relax. The bedrooms upstairs are very spacious and put together nicely with great views. The master bathrooms are exquisite! Downstairs in the basement it's a blast to watch a movie, sporting event or your favorite Netflix show on the 108" screen. If you are traveling with a lot of younger children, they will love the bunk beds downstairs. Each distinctly designed for boys and girls, they're fun rooms! On the downstairs back patio has a large hot tub and newly added chair lift seat which gives it that ultimate mountain house feel. If you want to drive into town, Main Street is just a few minutes down the hill and there's several restaurants and shops. It's fun just to walk around for a couple hours sand take it all in. After staying here several times, I would come back here again and again and again. This place is a blessing to those who have found it!"
