  • Wonderful time in Breckinridge Tyra

"We had a great time in this unit. It was very nicely decorated. We had a family of 4. Parents and 2 kids, one was a teenager. The kids slept on the sleeper sofa and they were right. It is pretty darn comfortable. Nice couch too. The living room furniture was really comfortable and we sat and watched tv together a lot. The bedroom was gigantic so it had plenty of room to store luggage. We had room in the dresser and closet to put away clothes for the entire family. Blankets were a plenty and heat worked great. Kitchen-well stocked. We even baked cookies and there were cookie sheets. Location-great location. It is a SHORT wall to the lift. Like down a drive way. Charter sports is right there too. I should have listened to rented our snowboard gear there because it was so close but Christy Sports had kids free if you purchased adult gear for 4 or more days. You can ski down the run right in front of the units. The trolley system was great. When we wanted to go right to peak 9, we did not even take snowflake lift. Breckenridge down town would be a bit of a hike. Just take a trolley. Owners were super nice. We had one question and when I texted, they texted back immediately. Gave us tons of info on the area. Very friendly. We will definitely be back."

  • Perfect place!

"This condo was perfect for our family. It is so comfortable and yet very well decorated with a beautiful updated kitchen. It was a little smaller than other places that we've stayed but it didn't feel small because it was well organized, the table is huge for games and cooking (there are games available), and there is a second sink outside of the bathroom for getting ready. The beds and couches are so comfortable. We had the gas fireplace going all the time and were also able to use the grill on the back porch. Everything you need for cooking is provided. The hot tubs (2 nice ones) are right across the street. Of course it is great to be near downtown and able to walk to the slopes! The owners were also fantastic to work with. Our family would highly recommend this condo for your next trip to Breckenridge and we will hopefully be able to stay there again soon!"

  • Exceptional Experience for Family Reunion

"Amazing, magnificent, and perfect describe The Timbers Lodge. Our family stayed in this incredible home for a reunion with ages ranging from 7 to 75, and the accommodations pleased all. If you need a facility for a large group, this house will not disappoint. One important factor that the house worked so well for our group was the configuration of beds and bathrooms. Three rooms have twin beds (some can be set up as king beds). One room has a queen bed and bunk beds which were perfect for a family with the younger kids. Jane exceeds expectations in many ways. First she provides much information before your arrival regarding the contract, house supplies, rules and regulations, etc. Jane sends directions, maps, and ideas for Breckenridge entertainment, shopping, and activities. Jane and the property manager are responsive and available if problems arise. I have rented many homes and condos and feel this is important especially with a group of 21. The kitchen and supplies from 2 stoves, 2 refrigerators plus a beverage frig, a generous supply of dishes, bowls, cups, glassware, and cooking supplies handled all of our needs. We enjoyed cooking on the outside grill too, one of at least 3. Most of all, in the kitchen area a table seats 6 people for eating or gathering. In addition, two very large tables in the living and dining area accommodated all 21 of us for dinners. Placemats and coasters are in ready supply. Our group especially enjoyed gathering in the large living and dining area with couches, chairs, and tables which we used for visiting, watching TV, completing a puzzle, and reading books. In addition to this wonderful, comfortable space filled with windows, doors, and light, the upstairs had a big room for working at a table, lounging on a couch, or sitting in an overstuffed chair to read and look at the majestic, mountain view. Also, the lower floor had a large entertainment room with a pool table and couch. The numerous options contributed to the success of our large gathering. Enjoy the outdoors decks and the hot tub. Walk to the adventure park and hiking. Take the Gondola to town to shop and eat. Enjoy the mountain and water activities in the area. Truly there is something for everyone! I highly recommend this lovely home and will definitely choose Timbers Lodge again for a large group. Thanks, Jane for your contribution to a highly successful and magical family reunion and thanks for exceeding expectations!"

  • Roomy bonus loft close to slopes

"This unit was excellent for our family of 4. Our two teenagers enjoyed having a loft with real beds - usually we rent a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa. The bathroom had 4 fulll towel racks instead of just few hooks and the kitchen was fully stocked - even included coffee and spices. The lockbox outside the apartment meant we didn't lose any keys on the slopes. This unit is as close to the slopes as you can get and right next to the Main St. shops and restaurants also. As for the skiing, we were very disappointed with the 45 minute wait lines for the lift for peak 9 - even first thing in the morning. However, we did come on Christmas week. We'll be trying a different mountain next year. Too bad, because the housing was excellent."
