  • Great Location, Quiet, could use a few updates

    "The Village at Breck is in a super location and we were surprised how quiet the condo is....especially during Spring Break. It is a very easy walk to Peak 9 for skiing. The convenience cannot be beat! The Village at Breck complex was built in the early 80s and they did a recent major exterior upgrade. Regarding this particular unit: Pros: Comfortable beds and linens They refreshed the towels everyday Living room sofa is comfortable and nice nice views of the mountains wood burning fireplace Cons: Cleaning crew could have done a better job cleaning the kitchen The unit is in need of upgrading, especially the bathrooms The blinds were terrible...they are placed several inches from the window frame and there are several inches of exposure on every side...even the ones in the bathroom. Very very small TV"

  • perfect location, charm

    "House in the perfect location:2-3 blocks from gondola, 1-2 blocks from main street and Breck shopping. Best part of Breck vs Vail or other ski resorts is that Breck was a real town before skiing became a thing and this house reflects that. Charming, well stocked. If you want the floors perfect, the windows perfect, fancy marble countertops, modern floor plan, look elsewhere. this house has been there a while and has character. It is kept clean and amenities came as billed. tavern next door if you choose to imbibe there (I didn't). The hot tub is great, grill works fine. Downstairs foosball and sitting area is nice. Drawbacks: it's not designed to store/dry ski gear. no garage. only 2 bathrooms (two teenage girls can really spend a lot of time in the bathroom). However, for a larger party (we had 10), there is more common space than most any place i've stayed. It does have parking in the driveway--three cars comfortably. Overall I would definitely stay here again. Did I mention it has the most spectacular view of the ski slope from the picture window in the sitting area? Owner very personable and responsive to questions/emails. Great to work with and i'm appreciative of her sharing her home with me for a week."

  • Friendly host, awesome location, good value

    "Mick was very communicative before and after the booking and also answered his phone promptly when the key was missing from the lockbox and we couldn't access the condo (the issue was resolved as quickly as possible, too, so kudos to Mick for handling the unexpected situation). The condo location is less than 5 minutes walk to both the nearest chairlift and also Main St. - we loved being able to walk everywhere easily. Pricing on this condo considering the above benefits made it a good value compared to others we considered. With that said, the condo interior is a bit outdated and in need of some repairs and upgrades. The beds especially seemed old/uncomfortable in our opinions. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend Mick's place as long as you are OK with the caveats listed."
