  • This is a great place to stay in Breckenridge

"If you want to go to Breckenridge and you have 4-8 people in your group, this is a great option. The house is well kept and well appointed, the owners are helpful and easy to work with, the location is excellent and views are spectacular. We had two adults and three teenagers with us for three days. Everyone had a bed and there was plenty of space so people could gather or go their own ways. It had a nice kitchen with everything you need. Great hot tub that was easy to use and had great mountain views. The windows of this home do a great job of showing off the mountains, too. There were even nice extras, like devices to dry your boots and gloves. It was great to have a washer/dryer and a garage to protect the rental car from snow and to stash stuff. The location was probably my favorite thing. It was a short walk to Main Street. We walked a couple blocks to a nearby park for sledding. The kids walked a couple blocks to the ice arena for skating. A free bus picks up every 20 minutes very close to the house. We took that to the free gondola to the ski areas (I don't personally ski but this house was located great for skiers.) There is even a free bus that runs to the next town over where the kids went snow tubing in Frisco. Finally, once you book the place you will get immediate outreach from the management company with offers to help book activities, etc. When I had questions, they responded quickly and helpfully. Most times when I have rented a vacation home something has always turned out to be a bit oversold or disappointing, even when the place works well. In this case, the house met or exceeded my expectations on every front. My only caution for future renters is that I think more than 8 people might feel crowded and sleeping arrangements could get tricky unless everyone is comfortable being cozy. The beds were nice. The king bed in the master bedroom was especially comfortable. Then there was a queen on the main floor and twin beds on the ground floor. Then you are down to couches/fold outs. Also, the ground level could be chilly. We went during the week in the first week of April and got pretty lucky. Good weather driving in and out from Denver but a fun 15-inch snowstorm while we were there. This timing was good because it was not terribly crowded, as most spring breaks were over and the ski season was ending. Restaurant waits weren't long, buses weren't packed, etc. If we are back in Colorado I would definitely rent this house again."

  • We had a great stay!

"The condo was very nice and fit 2 people very comfortably. Actually, it could have fit 3-4 people comfortably. The only complaint I have is the bed could use a new mattress and the kitchen needs new pots and pans for cooking. Other than that we had a great stay! We will definitely look the stay in The Village again!"

  • Family ski trip

"I reserved the house as it looked like a great location for my kids and spouses and one grandmother and one grand child. It turned out to be a wonderful house with the 7 bedrooms. This gave everyone enough of their own space but had some great common areas for getting everyone together. The location close to the Ice Rink shuttle stop was very convenient for getting all the skiers to the lifts as with any large family no one could agree to go at the same time. This allowed everyone to go at their own pace. It was also convenient enough that many of the adults walked to and from restaurants and bars each day."

  • Pleasant surprise

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Granted, our experience from the year prior meant that our next condo had nowhere to go but up, but this Park Place condo was a wonderful surprise. It was clean, the furniture was in good shape, there were plenty of towels and pillows, the location was Perfect (quiet and convenient), and the deck was a nice to sit while waiting for our kids to finish getting ready. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 out of 5 stars is because one twin bed squeaked so badly a person couldn't sleep in it. I'm not exaggerating - it was bad. The microwave, dishwasher, and kitchen table are also showing some age. But, again, it was nicely appointed and SO convenient!!! (The shuttle stops across the street and is just one stop away from the Snowflake lift, main street is a block away, and if you rent from Charter Sports, you can store your skies & stuff over night, instead of schlepping it all back/forth.) We would definitely stay there again, if the one bed frame gets fixed."
