  • Better than advertised

"A beautiful property that is even nicer than the pictures. We had a large group in town for a wedding and would have loved to spend more time here if we could. Very spacious, clean, and some nice touches such as a closet full of board games, bbq grill, and a stereo system. There are plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets, coaches and chairs, and unique artwork in every room. The open floor plan with the kitchen, dining, living room is nice for large groups to hang out together. Plenty of dishes and new appliances, including washer and dryer (with soap!) There is a pool table downstairs with an entertainment center. There was soap and shampoo in the showers. The master bath shower is one of the best showers I've ever used. The property owners are friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!"

  • Sweet Cottage!

"The Icehouse, in Redstone, CO, was a terrific place to stay for a destination wedding July 2016. It was clean, quiet, charming & made us feel like we were experiencing Redstone, instead of anyplace Colorado. I worried that it would be too hot to get ready for the wedding, (air conditioning isn't typical in the hotels or other accommodations nearby), but the ceiling fans, blinds & great windows & breezes kept our cottage cool even on 80+ degree days! It was nice to have the upstairs bedroom & bathroom for sleeping, and also have the downstairs full bath so both of us could get ready at the same time. We didn't need to use the washer/dryer, but it was nice to know it was there. We didn't use the full kitchen, but it would be great if you wanted to eat in. There were plenty of towels, bedding, dishes, glasses, etc., but I would bring extra bed pillows if you like more than one each; but I bet the hosts could help with that too. Besides being very clean, (cleaner than I think most nice hotels are), the Icehouse is decorated like you would your own cabin; prints, pictures and paintings of local scenes, and gorgeous wood paneling. This was our first VRBO experience and it was a success! Robert & Deb were great hosts, which for me meant give us info to get there & settle in, make sure all was well, & leave us alone 😀򐀬 although they made sure we knew they were available to meet our needs. I'm happy we stayed!"

  • Wonderful Carbondale Home

"First of all this home is very spacious including bedrooms, bathrooms, closets and central living spaces. Pictures do not do it justice. It was immaculately clean when we arrived! Kitchen is well stocked and all appliances, TV, etc worked properly. The property is a great location between Aspen and Vail. Our family ( ages 7 to 64) enjoyed hiking, fly fishing, rafting, the amusement area in Glenwood Springs, etc. We went into the Carbondale farmers market and spent an afternoon strolling around the cute town which has several good restaurants and cute shops. It was a delightful trip."

  • Amazing Property

"Anthony was quick to respond to my request and was extremely accommodating. We traveled with a 3 year old and let me assure you that there is more than enough for the 3 year old to do on the property. The previous reviews say it all. If you are looking to get away from everything, this is the place to go. Marble only has 130 residents and at night, you see no more than 15 lights on below you from the houses in the valley. The Milky Way and millions of stars are above you. You get to wake up to deer and hummingbirds every morning. The inside amenities are "different" than you're used to as it's off the grid but you get used to it almost immediately. Be respectful of this beautiful property and it will treat you right. We didn't want to leave the property as it's so relaxing but just minutes away are beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, lakes, parks, and hot springs. Go to Penny Hot Springs right along the river on your way up to Carbondale. Such a cool experience and a real "hot spring." Redstone is a great little town. Nothing to do in Marble other than the BBQ place and a small little coffee shop but this is the reason you come here, to do nothing. Aspen is about an hour away. There is a grocery store in Carbondale or a new Whole Foods about 10 minutes east of Carbondale which was fantastic. So many wonderful things to say about this property with nothing negative. When you book, make sure you follow the directions provided by Anthony and try to arrive in daylight. GPS will take you somewhere else and even in the daylight, we took a couple wrong turns when we arrived. I can't wait to return in the future. You won't be disappointed!"
