  • Great house for our family retreat

"Seven of us spent the week at the house and it met and exceeded our expectations. The house works; inside and out. Sleeping with the windows open to the sound of aspens quaking and a cool breeze in late July was heavenly. Family pictures and art on the walls; it feels like staying with old friends. The deer visited daily. We were happy to be outside of town but getting into Willits/ Basalt/ Carbondale was easy to visit friends in the local valley; Aspen is close by too and easily reachable, especially nice going up through Woody Creek and off the 82. A great base to hike and fish and spend time up valley and local to house. House is nicely furnished and the kitchen works well and feels like a home; very easy to be comfortable. Our group came in from three areas, California, Texas, and Utah, different daily schedules and ages morphed into a vacation. The house helped it happen. Will hope to visit again as a family retreat."

  • Great.

"The cabin itself is roomy, great layout, awesome steam shower. The property has much to offer. Stocked with great condiments and goodies. It was relaxing sitting by the river. Besides all the great things to do and see in the surrounding area. There are a couple of secluded things close by the cabin that are worth a look. One is the Crystal river hike if you are a hiker, the trail head is north just down the street. The views are great, and if you keep going, (;o) the walk along the river itself way UP and back in the canyon is wonderful. Also there is a road on the south side of the coke ovens called Coal Creek Rd. Beautiful to walk/drive especially through the red stone canyon. We hope to come back and stay here again. • Perfect house for a couple!

"We stayed at Bob's place last weekend and absolutely loved it! Perfect size, nice living area to chill in, comfy bed, awesome outdoor area by the river. Super nice and clean! Redstone is the coolest little town, there are not many more places like it! Go in late sept/early October and see all the leaves changing!"

  • Perfect cabin, perfect location

"This cabin was the highlight of our mini vacation. Pictures do not really do it justice. It was quiet, cozy and very clean. The furnishings were extremely comfortable and every detail had been thought of. We especially enjoyed the extensive selection of local history books (we learned a lot about the area), and relaxing on the deck, while taking in the beautiful view of White House Mountain. Can't wait to stay here again!"
