  • Great location

"Our family of four stayed at this property in November 2015. Many Copper properties advertise ski-in, ski-out, and most are not. This truly is a ski-in condo and a short hike to a beginner lift (Pitchfork) where you can then ski down to Superbee, a high-speed six-person chair. It's in East Village, which is the more difficult side of the mountain...and less crowded! The shuttle bus also stops about 100 yards from the condo and can easily take you to Center Village, the main hub of Copper. The condo was clean beyond belief, and perfect for our family. The king bed was very comfortable, TV in the bedroom, and the bunk beds in the entry hall were quite large and also comfortable. Our kids are teens and they had no issues with the bunk beds. The living room furniture was also very comfortable, and the gas fireplace a sure bonus. There is also an electric grill on the balcony. Being from Texas...I was skeptical of any grill that 'plugs in', but we did steaks one night and they turned out great. Hit the Safeway in Frisco for groceries. This is a corner unit. The balcony looks out onto the Pitchfork Chairlift with a view of the mountain. A living room window overlooks the heated pool. Covered parking was a plus as well. The assigned parking spot is next to the entry door. A ski locker to store equipment is located on the parking garage level, which beats hauling your equipment upstairs and downstairs each day. A coin operated laundry facility is also on the bottom floor. We packed light and simply did laundry one evening. The kitchen was not overly stocked with condiments, but I believe we were the first rental in some time as the clocks were not changed after the time change several weeks earlier, so probably simply the results of a very deep cleaning. There was a coffee pot and waffle maker for our use. Fridge was spotless. The price was great, and owner a true joy to work with. Wifi worked well. The only 'surprise' was the condo states it's on the second floor...but it's actually three flights of stairs as the parking garage 'floor' is not counted as a floor, and there was no elevator (that we could find), so be prepared to haul your stuff up stairs three floors. But, the silver lining...that's one way to acclimate to the altitude going up and down three flights of stairs. This property was perfect for our four-day stay for us parents and two kiddos. We would return in a heartbeat! Thanks Leslie for a wonderful stay!"

  • Convenient to everything!

"Fairly spacious, comfy and beautifully decorated. The dining area/kitchen/ is a great set-up and very comfortable with enough room for the 6 of us to enjoy meals. The kitchen is also well stocked, even a crock pot! When we reserved this condo we knew we would be putting the sleeper sofa to use, and our teenagers commented on its comfort. The master bedroom has a large window with a view of the street below and of the mountains...great to wake up to! The second bedroom is on the other side of the condo, so privacy was not sacrificed. We spent both evenings on the balcony people watching and enjoying the live music from the plaza below. The location could not be better. We were literally steps from all the action both in the restaurants and in the plaza This is a great location for families. All in all, for us, it was fine and we wouldn't hesitate to return."

  • Great place to stay

"This house is located in the East Village of the Copper Mountain resort community. The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of 11 adults. The only complaint with the house is that the lower 3 stairs while carpeted, are slippery with socks or barefoot and resulted in 3 falls during our stay. The railing in that spot is also loose which may be a sign of a continuing problem with the stairs. It is a ski IN only and is located along a black run. The Superbee lift is steps away which allows access to the entire mountain, but skiers must cross difficult runs to access easier ones. The Copper shuttle, which provides free transportation within Copper village is convenient, fast, and easy to use to gain access to the other villages and lifts/runs. The Summit County shuttle bus stop with free access to Frisco, CO is just a quick 5 minute walk."

  • Perfect home base for Leadville 100MTB race

"We stayed on this place for 5 days to participate on the Leadville 100MTB race August 13 2016 The place is very nice, super clean, lots of space for 6 even 7 aduls to sleep. (we were only 5 so more space). Spacious kitchen fully equiped with everything you need to cook. Large fridge. Bath amenities very nice quality. Garage for the truck/car. TVs, WIFI. Our feel is that in this place we had everything that we are used to have at home, so you can have the same lifestyle that you know, so for us in one word, perfect. Todd (owner) is very polite and responds mails very quick. 100% recomended and definetly coming back next year."
