  • Very convenient lodging close to Superbee lift! (with hot tub!)

"We found the location to be very convenient and the unit to be nicely kept. The unit is only a 2-3 minute walk to the Superbee lift which is in the East Village. This lift services mostly intermediate and advanced riders but it is nice because the crowds weren't as bad compared to the Center Village lifts. The kitchen was well-stocked and others had left their non-perishables at the house. Frisco is only 8 miles away so any other groceries and supplies were easily purchased at Walmart and Safeway. The kitchen was fairly small but the dining area easily seated our group and we were very comfortable in the bedrooms. There were plenty of pillows and linens to be comfortable and each room had its own thermostat so we could control our own temperatures as needed. There were nice bathrobes in each closet which allowed us to utilize the hot tub and sauna conveniently on the first floor. The hot tub was huge and was open till late (10 PM). It definitely helped us recover after a long day's session. The first floor also had changing rooms and showers which was nice cause then we could easily shower after hot tub and sauna and they were very strong with plenty of hot water. The laundry machines were new and easy to use as was the dishwasher. The unit had 2 parking passes and the garage so parking was very convenient. On the last day, most of us drove to either the alpine lot or the Triple Threat lot (free if you carpool with 3 or more) which the Copper staff says rarely gets full even on busy days. Overall a great stay and would definitely come back next time to Copper!"

  • Great location

"Our family of four stayed at this property in November 2015. Many Copper properties advertise ski-in, ski-out, and most are not. This truly is a ski-in condo and a short hike to a beginner lift (Pitchfork) where you can then ski down to Superbee, a high-speed six-person chair. It's in East Village, which is the more difficult side of the mountain...and less crowded! The shuttle bus also stops about 100 yards from the condo and can easily take you to Center Village, the main hub of Copper. The condo was clean beyond belief, and perfect for our family. The king bed was very comfortable, TV in the bedroom, and the bunk beds in the entry hall were quite large and also comfortable. Our kids are teens and they had no issues with the bunk beds. The living room furniture was also very comfortable, and the gas fireplace a sure bonus. There is also an electric grill on the balcony. Being from Texas...I was skeptical of any grill that 'plugs in', but we did steaks one night and they turned out great. Hit the Safeway in Frisco for groceries. This is a corner unit. The balcony looks out onto the Pitchfork Chairlift with a view of the mountain. A living room window overlooks the heated pool. Covered parking was a plus as well. The assigned parking spot is next to the entry door. A ski locker to store equipment is located on the parking garage level, which beats hauling your equipment upstairs and downstairs each day. A coin operated laundry facility is also on the bottom floor. We packed light and simply did laundry one evening. The kitchen was not overly stocked with condiments, but I believe we were the first rental in some time as the clocks were not changed after the time change several weeks earlier, so probably simply the results of a very deep cleaning. There was a coffee pot and waffle maker for our use. Fridge was spotless. The price was great, and owner a true joy to work with. Wifi worked well. The only 'surprise' was the condo states it's on the second floor...but it's actually three flights of stairs as the parking garage 'floor' is not counted as a floor, and there was no elevator (that we could find), so be prepared to haul your stuff up stairs three floors. But, the silver lining...that's one way to acclimate to the altitude going up and down three flights of stairs. This property was perfect for our four-day stay for us parents and two kiddos. We would return in a heartbeat! Thanks Leslie for a wonderful stay!"

  • Great Location!

"My family stayed at Cooper Mountain for a week in August 2016. The condo was well equipped for us and the location is just great in central village. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this again for our next visit."

  • Great central location.

"I didn't want to write this review, keeping this place secret, available just for me. But in fairness to Lesley, we're letting the secret out. This place is in a great location, in the center of The Village at Copper, next to the 'Burning Globe', between the covered bridge and the American Eagle lift. The location was ideal, near the daycare and near the shuttle stop to Union Creek for kids' ski school. Parents with kids would go left or right, while my wife and I would go straight for the Eagle. Our group had 8 adults, 2 pre-teens and 2 toddlers, with 12 the room gets a little cozy, but we like chaos. The room configurations are: 1) Master with king bed and on-suite bathroom, 2) queen bed with shared bathroom, 3) 2 sets of bunk beds with a trundle bed and private bathroom, and pull out couch in the living room. Furnishing were nice, the room was clean, and the building was quiet. One underground parking spot for each room with surface lots available. The ski tickets available through property rental group were terrific, be sure to ask for the secret passes for skiing. This is our new favorite at Copper Mountain, and we will be back next year."
