  • Great Slopeside Condo - a bit far to be truly ski in/out

"This was our first trip to Copper Mountain - wow, what a phenomenal mountain. I definitely see why it's a locals favorite. We, a group of four adults, stayed here five nights in late February and the condo had plenty of space for all of us. Overall, the condo was very nice and comfortable, but not what I would call 'luxurious'. On the plus side: Ron was great to work with, he made the booking and check-in process extremely easy It was a very nice condo with decent amenities and the kitchen was well stocked Beds and sofas were comfortable, the condo was very clean Underground heated parking is great to have Hot tub and gym were nice The down side: The condo could use some additional furnishing in the master bedroom; no dresser and no hangers in the closet - frustrating to have to live out of a suitcase for 5 nights From the ski locker room, you will have to walk several hundred steps to get to either the American Flyer or American Eagle lifts. This was much further than we anticipated, but seemed about average for Copper's base area. The ski locker room also only had benches outside in the lobby area. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the view from the condo isn't great, just a roof and more condos Not of the 'downside' issues were deal breakers and overall I would recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again. On a side note, I would not recommend renting equipment from the ski shop on the first floor of Copper One Lodge. My wife and I have taken 1 to 2 ski trips every year for the past 18 years and have never paid as much as we did at this rental shop - almost $60 per day for demo skis (incl. tax and damage waiver). I could overlook the high price if the equipment and service was great, but even the demo skis were very beat up and many of the employees are borderline worthless."

  • Great choice for Copper Mountain

"This unit is clean and well appointed. The location is excellent. It's a very short walk to the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Copper Mountain. The view from the balcony is awesome--you can see everything that is going on in Copper Mountain and can even take in music at the many summer concerts a few hundred yards away. An added bonus: on summer Saturdays, CM puts on a fireworks display, and the balcony at this unit offers front row seats. Passage Point is great. The hot tubs and heated pools are big and inviting after a day of Colorado activities. The work-out room is clean and has several good machines. The basement parking lot is secure and roomy for an underground lot. As a bonus, it's even heated. The only reason I don't give the unit 5 stars is because the bed was not very comfortable. The mattress is obviously cheap. It sagged in the middle, which resulted in a poor night's sleep. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would still return, especially for the price."

  • Great location, great skiing

"Walk to the lifts, or the Copper Village with restaurants, pubs and ski/board village shopping. Comfortable condo with full kitchen - enjoyed having a hot breakfast (omelets, egg sammich) for breakfast before tackling the 2300 acres of mountain skiing that you can see out the bay window. The hot tub felt great after a long day of skiing! The owner was helpful and we would stay there again for sure :)"
