  • Great Slopeside Condo - a bit far to be truly ski in/out

"This was our first trip to Copper Mountain - wow, what a phenomenal mountain. I definitely see why it's a locals favorite. We, a group of four adults, stayed here five nights in late February and the condo had plenty of space for all of us. Overall, the condo was very nice and comfortable, but not what I would call 'luxurious'. On the plus side: Ron was great to work with, he made the booking and check-in process extremely easy It was a very nice condo with decent amenities and the kitchen was well stocked Beds and sofas were comfortable, the condo was very clean Underground heated parking is great to have Hot tub and gym were nice The down side: The condo could use some additional furnishing in the master bedroom; no dresser and no hangers in the closet - frustrating to have to live out of a suitcase for 5 nights From the ski locker room, you will have to walk several hundred steps to get to either the American Flyer or American Eagle lifts. This was much further than we anticipated, but seemed about average for Copper's base area. The ski locker room also only had benches outside in the lobby area. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the view from the condo isn't great, just a roof and more condos Not of the 'downside' issues were deal breakers and overall I would recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again. On a side note, I would not recommend renting equipment from the ski shop on the first floor of Copper One Lodge. My wife and I have taken 1 to 2 ski trips every year for the past 18 years and have never paid as much as we did at this rental shop - almost $60 per day for demo skis (incl. tax and damage waiver). I could overlook the high price if the equipment and service was great, but even the demo skis were very beat up and many of the employees are borderline worthless."

  • Gorgeous space, well equipped.

"This is a great place. The views are wonderful, it is clean, tidy, and in good repair. Great access to copper mountain and the slopes. Great food close by. Since it's a large unit, be aware parking close by may be in issue if you have a large group with multiple cars."

  • Best condo experience we've had!

"My husband, corgi, and I recently stayed two months in this condo as part of our relocation from New Mexico to Colorado. His company coordinated our temporary housing, and after finding no typical options, selected this VRBO for us. The condo was perfect; it suited all our needs. Great kitchen, dining, living space, bathroom, bedroom, and even a washer and dryer - we were able to live at ease during those two months of transition. In addition, the condo is surrounded by pure majesty: trails, paved bike paths, a creek, mountains, pines... we even got to witness the aspens change at the end of fall. So stunning. It's a perfect place to go on a leisurely hike with your dog. We even stumbled upon the Colorado Trail. Finally, the owners couldn't have been more helpful and kind during our stay. They knew about our unusual situation and accommodated us in every way possible with great communication at each step. We were blown away by their generosity."
