  • Fabulous Vacation Rental!

"We LOVED our stay in Copper Mountain! This is our third time supporting my husband and son in the annual Copper Triangle cycling event raising funds for the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's research. This is by far the best place we have stayed! Great fit for our family! The location was perfect for us to be close to the event and loved the quiet atmosphere. (we were a bit disappointed that the weather didn't cooperate so we could participate in the resort activities) Parking was not an issue for us as there is additional parking for our larger vehicle. We were able to fish and canoe "in the rain" on Officers Gulch lake. Just a short 5 minute drive with rentals close as well, in Frisco. Being from Phoenix, Arizona, the weather was quite amazing! We will definitely be back! Thanks for being so kind and accommodating! Our only issue was on our part, we wanted to sweep and vacuum after our meals and could not locate a broom or vacuum. On our last day, after our son went home, as I was double checking to make sure nothing was left behind, I found it in the closet in the bedroom he was staying in :) ... just keep looking and I am sure you will find what you need!"

  • Great location

"Our family of four stayed at this property in November 2015. Many Copper properties advertise ski-in, ski-out, and most are not. This truly is a ski-in condo and a short hike to a beginner lift (Pitchfork) where you can then ski down to Superbee, a high-speed six-person chair. It's in East Village, which is the more difficult side of the mountain...and less crowded! The shuttle bus also stops about 100 yards from the condo and can easily take you to Center Village, the main hub of Copper. The condo was clean beyond belief, and perfect for our family. The king bed was very comfortable, TV in the bedroom, and the bunk beds in the entry hall were quite large and also comfortable. Our kids are teens and they had no issues with the bunk beds. The living room furniture was also very comfortable, and the gas fireplace a sure bonus. There is also an electric grill on the balcony. Being from Texas...I was skeptical of any grill that 'plugs in', but we did steaks one night and they turned out great. Hit the Safeway in Frisco for groceries. This is a corner unit. The balcony looks out onto the Pitchfork Chairlift with a view of the mountain. A living room window overlooks the heated pool. Covered parking was a plus as well. The assigned parking spot is next to the entry door. A ski locker to store equipment is located on the parking garage level, which beats hauling your equipment upstairs and downstairs each day. A coin operated laundry facility is also on the bottom floor. We packed light and simply did laundry one evening. The kitchen was not overly stocked with condiments, but I believe we were the first rental in some time as the clocks were not changed after the time change several weeks earlier, so probably simply the results of a very deep cleaning. There was a coffee pot and waffle maker for our use. Fridge was spotless. The price was great, and owner a true joy to work with. Wifi worked well. The only 'surprise' was the condo states it's on the second floor...but it's actually three flights of stairs as the parking garage 'floor' is not counted as a floor, and there was no elevator (that we could find), so be prepared to haul your stuff up stairs three floors. But, the silver lining...that's one way to acclimate to the altitude going up and down three flights of stairs. This property was perfect for our four-day stay for us parents and two kiddos. We would return in a heartbeat! Thanks Leslie for a wonderful stay!"

  • Great for a family of four

"The condo was very comfortable and well stocked for our family of four. The pool was a welcome soak after a day on the slopes. Great location and the owners were easy to work with."

  • Great experience with owner and excellent location at Copper!

"Our stay at Copper Mountain was excellent and very well supported by the owner of this unit. The 1BR was perfect for my wife and I to adventure out of in the summer with access to great hiking, biking, and other mountain benefits. The only issue we had was a water heater pump that went out in the entire complex. Ron was very prompt at looking in to the issue and stayed in constant contact until it was fixed. Again, it was not a problem with the unit but the entire building and not the owner's fault. But I greatly appreciated his support throughout the issue. It speaks volumes to his support of his tenants. If you are looking for an excellent "gold quality" unit with great access in Copper's village, don't look any further."
