  • Fabulous family vacation!

"We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home in Dillon - perfect for multiple family gatherings! The owners were so easy to work with, and we felt their love and attention to detail throughout the home. Everything was perfect - you could tell that this was their home rather than just a rental. It had personal touches, extras in the kitchen that were appreciated, and plenty of space for everyone. We went skiing, played in the fenced backyard (bonus for kids!), loved the hot tub, and had such an easy time cooking and feeding everyone. Thank you, thank you for opening your home to us! We loved it all and will definitely recommend it to our friends!"

  • Great week in Dillon!!

"My family of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids ages 9-17) just returned from a great trip to Dillon Colorado, where we stayed in this wonderful 6 bedroom home. The owners were very friendly, and super easy to work with. The layout was perfect with two large bedrooms (king bed in one, 4 twins and 2 fulls in the other!) and a bathroom upstairs where we put all the kids. There was a large landing area too, with a futon where yet another person could have slept. This left 3 additional bedrooms with direct bathroom access (2 on the main floor and one in the basement) for the adult couples, and yet another bedroom in the basement for my teenage son, who wasn't so much into the togetherness! The kids had a great time playing pool in the basement. We made s'mores at the fire pit out back, and cooked wonderful meals in the upstairs kitchen. The kitchen was a bit disorganized, so we had a little trouble finding things, but in the end we were able to locate almost everything we needed. We had a minor issue with the washing machine, but it was fixed immediately with no hassle on our part. My only word of warning would be a simple heads up about a unique situation at the house. As the owner states, this is a vacation home they use nearly every weekend. My family loves to use VRBO because we get to move into a fabulous house in a great vacation area, and pretend it is OURS for the week. Staying at the Dillon house was more like staying with another family, minus the people. The owner's things were everywhere. This was a bit off-putting when we first arrived, but by the end we didn't really mind. I just think it's important to go into it knowing what you are getting into. When I expressed concern about this before our arrival, the owner was very kind to clear out some extra space for us, which helped a lot. The biggest problem we had was in the kitchen. There was not a single empty cabinet to unload the food we had brought (12 people eat a lot of food in a week!) and the fridge and freezer were about half full with the owner's things. After a little relocating and consolidating, we were able to make room and get our stuff unpacked. All in all, this was a great house and a good rental experience. I would recommend renting this house to anyone!"

  • Great way to start the New Year!

"Our group really enjoyed this rental! The place has the perfect layout for a large group; we had 12 in our group. The location is very easy to get to, and there is plenty of driveway space for vehicles. The kitchen and dining room area served our group great as we all prepared a large dinner together the last night of our stay. The views from the deck are great, and the entertainment space in the basement was perfect. The rental payment and deposit process was seamless, and the owner was very responsive. Everything was as described in the ad. Thanks again for allowing us to stay!"

  • Perfect Location for skiing the Summit!

"We had a great week skiing with friends and family - location was ideal for skiing - the hardest decision we had everyday was choosing which mountain. We arrived without any difficulty, although I can see if the road had been icy, it might have been difficult getting up the hill to the house. Everything was clean and ready to go - kitchen had everything we needed and the grocery store was right down the street. We cooked almost every night and found the big dining room table perfect to sit around at dinner and swap stories of the day. The hot tub was well used, and the beds were all very comfortable. We did have up to 11 adults - the three king rooms were terrific, but the bunk room was probably more suited for kids as none of the adults wanted to sleep on the top bunks! There are also two pull out couches upstairs which appeared to be very comfortable, and the TV worked well. Overall, we had a great week. Again, the location is terrific if you want to be smack-dab in the middle of Keystone, Vail, Arapahoe, Breckenridge, and Copper. And Kevin, the owner, was very available and kept in touch the entire week to make sure all was well. Oh, and if you are in Dillon on a Wednesday, go to the Arapahoe Bar (in the basement) for the burger night special!! Best burger I think I have ever had! Thanks for the great week!"
