"We've spent a couple weeks in Colorado every summer for the last several years. This year we chose Rockhaven in Frisco and couldn't be more pleased. Not only is Frisco a great jumping off point for all the mountain activities but Rockhaven is perfectly situated for access to the extensive bike trail system and many hikes. The wide paved trail access is a mere two blocks away. From there you can ride to Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper, Vail Pass Summit, over Swan Mountain and around Lake Dillon for unsurpassed mountain views and fantastic riding. There are also many MTB trails for the more adventurous. The convenience of being able to hop on your bike at Rockhaven and enjoy all of this can't be understated. In fact, your car can stay parked even when you venture into town because it's only a short walk to the main street where you can find all kinds of restaurants and other shops. Be sure to check out the historic museum. Frisco has a fascinating history. Rockhaven was perfect for recovering after a long ride. The calming sound of the babbling creek permeates the main living area which has a very comfortable sofa. The back deck is another relaxing hangout spot. In the cool evenings, the front yard stone patio with gas fire pit was great for enjoying a drink and looking at stars. The kitchen is well-equipped and, as a pseudo-foodie who likes to cook, I found everything I needed for some involved meals. The house is very spacious and would easily accommodate a few families with kids. There are plenty of entertainment options in the house should the weather keep you inside. For the avid cyclist, Rockhaven would be an ideal base location to train for the Triple Bypass ride. Acclimatize at 9100ft elevation while you sleep in the comfortable Rockhaven beds. Ride south to Hoosier Pass at 11,500, west to Vail Pass Summit at 10,600 or complete the Copper Triangle for an epic training run. All of this without loading up the bike rack! I would definitely stay at Rockhaven again and highly recommend it."

  • Perfect quick getaway

"We took advantage of the low rental cost to get away for a few nights this month. What can I say? This property and the owner are great. The condo has a nice remodeled expanded bathroom, unlike other condos we stayed in at this complex. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen has everything we need. Full size appliances. WIFI was free, very fast and not shared with anyone. There is a chromecast on the TV so we were able to cast on netflix movie onto the TV. Sweet! There was a boot dryer in the unit which we used every night to dry out hiking boots. What a great idea! There is also a washer/dryer in the unit. Other units we stayed in in the past didn't have any and we had to go to the laundrymat which took a great amount of time. This condo is now our favorite place away from home and we are going to book it once more before the ski season is in full swing. What a gem!"

  • Excellent accommodation.

"We loved our stay at this property. Dealing with Ruth & Lisa was a pleasure and arrival/departure details were well written and explained. We were a family of 3, 2 adults and our 18year old son and the set up worked out perfectly for us. The property had absolutely everything we needed and was so warm and cosy, including the bonus of the garage. We would highly recommend this property."

  • Beautiful place, great location.

"We stayed here with 2 families, a total of 8 adults. Plenty of space for all of us. Within walking distance to downtown Frisco for good food and shops. Easy drive to several ski resorts. The property managers were very friendly and helpful."
