  • Magical lakeside retreat

"Highly recommend this cabin. Square footage is maximized to accommodate multiple families and group dining experience. Just steps down to a lovely sandbar on the little lake. We caught lots of fish (6 to 8 pm is the prime time). Very conveniently located to Grand Lake town and hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots of fresh towels. We cooked almost every meal for 4 days and kitchen had everything we would need. Not fancy...or new but clean and well-maintained. Everything was as we had hoped."

  • We have stayed in Cabin #5 for many years.

"We began taking our young boys to Cabin #5 years ago. This year they were 19 and 16. It was a bit tight but we had a wonderful time. There's a nice front porch, so we had plenty of room to spread out, plus who wants to be inside in Grand Lake?? You have access to private beach, or you can go uptown. Cabin was neat as a pin and new kitchen remodel was lovely."

  • Perfect for our family get away.

"We had 9 in our party (7 adults and 2 children) and the cabin fit us perfectly. GPS took us to the front door. Right when we pulled up to the cabin, we saw a moose and they visited the area frequently while we were there. There were great instructions given prior to the stay and at the cabin itself, which made everything go seamless. The views from the cabin's dock are wonderful and make for great family photos. The lake is only about 4 feet deep and the canoe was great. I do wish the cabin had a Kayak and/or paddle board, that would have added to the fun. Just up the road is the Winding River Resort where we enjoyed horse back riding and I believe they rent out ATV's as well. They have a little gift shop for souvenirs and any convenience items. We also drove about 45 minutes to Kremmling and went white water rafting on the upper Colorado River, which was loads of fun. We brought our boat from Nebraska to use in Lake Grand, but I wouldn't recommend doing that. You don't need to, there is plenty to do. Plus, your boat will have to go through an intense inspection and hope they don't find any type of algae or it won't be allowed in the lake (we were told they will even quarantine your boat, so luckily we passed!). I would highly recommend this cabin and when back in the area I would stay here again."

  • Amazing 4th of July Getaway!

"This house was absolutely stunning. Perfect from the moment we arrived and exactly as described. They had every utensil/cooking item you could possibly need, and there was plenty of room to accommodate the 9 of us. My kids loved the giant hill of a backyard, and we enjoyed the daily visits from the hummingbirds and deer. Plenty of activities like Adam's Falls, Estes Park, horseback riding or boating nearby kept us plenty busy when we weren't soaking it all in at the house. The overhang perfectly blocked the rain as we spent most of our time loving the gas fire pit. The neighborhood is quiet, and we even got to see the milky way while we enjoyed the stars. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking a Colorado vacation. Perfect from start to finish."
