  • Relaxing getaway to Vail

"My wife and I stayed two nights in June for a quick getaway. Overall the unit was as described and we enjoyed our stay; here's a few things we liked and a few to be aware of if you are looking to book a place. The good: 1. The unit was clean, comfortable and best of all dark and quiet for sleeping. We even had a somewhat large and loud group below us, but we barely heard them. 2. Check in was quick and easy. The club has onsite staff which is reassuring if there is an issue. 3. Onsite restaurant was decent and very conveinant after the long drive 4. East Vail is quiet and peaceful, we hiked to nearby waterfalls after checking in and that was lovely. Not sure if we were on an official trail or not, but that might have made it more fun. 5. Great access to the Vail bus- we didn't use it, but it was there if you don't want to deal with parking 6. We didn't use the pool or hot tubs, but they looked nice. 7. Nice selection of movies available for guests. The not so good: 1. Unit is right next to Gore Creek and the creek was raging with spring runoff. Cool to look at, but if we had our daughter with us, I would have been a little concerned. I bet it is real nice once the peak flows die down. 2. East Vail only had one restaurant open (on-site), so you have to drive to town for any food. There was a market down the street that sold the basics and a little more, at Vail prices of course. 3. There is some highway noise outside. Not sure if you can really escape this in Vail since the interstate is never far away, but something to consider. Couldn't really hear it inside the unit. That's it, sorry for the list- I'm an engineer."

  • Fantastic home for family vacation!

"We loved our stay at Cornerstone at the Moraine Town Home #40! The open format kitchen, dining, den is perfect for a family vacation. The master suite was very nice with a terrific bathroom. My younger kids enjoyed the bunk beds and sitting on their private balcony. Meanwhile, the teenager appreciated her room and private bath. The home had everything a family of five could possible need, plus some. My son and I enjoyed playing catch on the very large grounds just across from the townhome. The location is so convenient to everywhere you would want to visit in Steamboat. We will return and undoubtedly to this home."

  • Pure Magic!

"This cabin is fantastic. If you like waking up to deer in the front yard stay here. Super clean and comfortable. Great communication with the owners and nicely supplied with basic cooking supplies like spices, cooking oil etc...there was even coffee in case you forgot it. It was hard to pack up and leave! It's just a short scenic drive to the mountain and town."
